Over on the freebie board..........there's a thread marked 'more fabric samples' and if you put fabric samples in the search box another thread will come up.
Latest lot were from bhs........good size. Just ordered some from the new thread over there so fingers crossed.

I was reading through here and someone mentioned 'record bowls' - what are they? Are they made from old vinyl records or something - somehow melted?

I've just done a search for this - if you want to find something in a thread, use the green bar that says 'Search this thread' and type in what you are looking for. ;)

This is the post I found:

How many days left ???? Oh don't throw me into a panic !!!!

Done nothing today but have sent one of my specs cases off to a girl we used to look after for her birthday next week. She'll give me an honest opinion on whether its ok or not...........lol:rotfl:
Fabric samples I ordered came today......should be plenty for card making and I can make some hearts and xmas tree shapes to hang across the dresser with a few...........plus stick a patch on couple of skirts............well pleased with those.

Need to pick your brains.............I found a woolen tassle (don't know where it came from) with about three inches of wool on it........any ideas what I can use it for ? Only thing I can think of is a key ring if I tie the wool round a ring and knot it.

Plus I've got one rose I cut off an old velvet type top and a small flower bud type from same top..........not quite sure what to do with them as they're odds as opposed to a pair..........racking my brains and getting nowhere................:(

Perhaps you could trim a plain fleece hat with the roses - our poundshop have lots when it gets colder!:)
