Sammy_Kaye: I think a jigsaw is a really lovely idea! And not one I have heard of people doing before so Im sure they will be surprised you can even get that kinda of thing done!
I was having a think about personalised gifts today ready for christmas. Vistaprint does great deals for free items, where they get the money is the postage and packing which if you need an item quickly can be really high. But I looked on there and personalised calendars are only 99p and the slowest postage (21 days) is only 3.08, so thats less than £5 for a personalised A4 wall calendar! I have done a couple for my Grandad for previous Christmas' and he loved them (first one was the grandchildren the second one was all picrtures of him and my Nanna from when they met till when she passed away) and I paid about £15-£18 for these because I left it too close to christmas.
So its going to be my summer project to get some personalised calendars made for my family. Im defiately doing one for my Grandad, Dad, bf and friend.
I also had an experiement adding some of the other 'free' items to the basket (I was thinking of getting some business cards done anyway) and when I added the free 250 business cards the postage was only 3.78, so not much of a different for another item. Not tried adding more than one free calendar yet though.0 -

Thanks Midge, I was looking at including this book. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grandads-Book-Grandad-Whos-Everything/dp/1843173085/ref=pd_sim_b_4
Have also found these

Think they will go nicely in the hamper too.
So my checklist so far includes
* a grandad book
* a grandad mug
* a jigsaw of both kids
* 'I love my grandad' socks
* framed picture of both kids feet/hands together with names and ages.
* little bottle of red wine (maybe)
* keyring
* picture frame with a photo of him and both grandkids together if I
can get one sneakily.
Think I might include a little baggy of sweets too but we'll see or maybe some home made biscuits that Ben can make himself.Making Changes To Save My LifeCurrent weightloss - 2lbs (week 1)0 -
Giggles fairy if you go through topcash back like mum2 one said you`ll get £5 cash back on a free order every month, also if you receive emails from them which they send regularly, it`ll offer you free items, so pick the one thats the lightest and free, click on it, go to the vistasite and do all the ordering, then leave that page open...go back to the email and choose another free gift, like the tshirt or mug (whatevers on the email..) go throught he ordering bit...look in your cart and the two free items should be there....close the first order down, go back to the email , click another free item and go through to vispa print, order your 3rd free item, close down the 2nd order (keeping the 3rd order) Do this 4 times for 4 free gifts and then add your calender. You`ll end up with 5 items (4 free)
I hope this makes sense....xxChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
