Should add to that I have recently brought two packs of mini whisks - they are both different sizes but they are small and one slightly smaller again and they were 50p in wilkinsons.
although thank you very much whoever put the link up for the patterned cello bags too! think it was sarah - will be getting a few of these I think.
Thinking that Im sure it was Mrs Mac last year who made different types of coffee so they might be good to put in these bags too for coffee lovers! and put a few together in a hamper
ALSO
I have decided for my sister - instead of a strawberries and cream comfy hamper that I am going to make her her own home management guide. She is always struggling with money, always getting red letters because she's forgotten to pay the bills, or she has lost a payment card, spends too much on brand name stuff, cant cook/bake, house is always a mess etc so whilst cleaning this morning (yes im aware its only 8.48) I found an old red file, a pack of ten dividers and a pack of 50 plastic wallets so I figure I could make one plastic wallet for each bill/payment schedule/payment card (ie water, council tax, tv license etc) then use a divider to separate and put a basic fly lady cleaning list etc.
Need ideas of what I can put the sections though
like i said i have 10 dividers but obviously don't need to use all of these
Im thinking
Contact numbers List - so her landlord, benefits office, tax credits etc
Calendar of birthdays (she always forgets!)
Bills is the next main one though
Shopping List
Basic Easy To Make Recipes (might put cooking and baking separately though and make sure to put about ways to use left overs)
Basic cleaning list
How To Use Star Drops, soda crystals, and white vinegar.
anyone else have any other ideas????Time to find me again0 -
morning Sarah, and everyone else
i didnt buy the 3 but marked the ebay seller for the 10

house full of teens last night, so was side tracked!!:D0 -
:Tbought them
and went through quidco of course!!
thank you again, its nice when you can tick things off your list
may seem small to some, but was a niggle to me
so i am chuffed thats something else sorted0 -
sammy-kaye That sounds like a fab idea - I am the same I hate to admit! I am forever loosing things and I dont cook at all, but would love someone to put me in "order"! I would suggest though that maybe with the recipies you couls start a recipie book, buy a nice plain book, then type up your recipies onto white card and then back them onto a different colour to suggest Brekfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snack and then stick them in the book, does that makes sense? I do love your idea for the folder though for everything else.
Midnightraven wow it sounds like you had your hands full! lolHalifax CC - £374.58 Vanquis CC - £2300 HSBC Loan - £7000 SimplyBe - £458.270 -

I was thinking of making a decorated separate cook book for her - although she might lose it was my only worry!!! She only has her and my niece to feed basically though so I could include ideas for making with her daughters help too which is nice and I gave her a baking hamper the year before last so i know she has everything she needs to bake with.Time to find me again0 -
Love the Home Management idea............(could do with one myself..............lol)
I'm doing an index box with recipes in for foster daughter for christmas -it already had the index cards in it so I'm using those but for XYZ I've re-done it for Tips and Hints around the house........cleaning tips stuff like that.
Just got back from seeing my son in Worthing.........while I was there I got more paper for family tree scrapbooks, buttons for button necklaces (beginning to wonder how many I need to make !!)
and some foam sheets for specs cases.............oh and some oblong beer mats from a pub down there........just right for a notebook to hang on the wall.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

:Di dont mind really
i have 3 teens myself, and i am so lucky with them
and they all have a great bunch of mates
they all love to come here, we cook together, craft together, and they sleep where they fall
they sit all night nursing a big mug of hot chocolate, and whatever homemade biccies are there, least i know where they all are, and they keep me young!:T
one of my daughters friends asked me last night if she can come over when the rest are not there to help her out with some crafting she is having difficulties with, you cant get better than that really0 -
