Haven't done anything to my button bracelets.........I'm still a bit undecided about how to do them.......whether to put buttons on ribbon and have press stud fastening - need to go to the sewing shop I think to see if I can get any ideas from the stuff in there.
If I'd had my brain in right last week there was a super sewing shop in Worthing..........I'd have found something in there I bet...........mind you sons girlfriend was with me and as she's getting one of them maybe best I didn't.
Have looked for safety pins and can't seem to find any -bet I'd have found some of them last week as well -I've got a lot of dark brown seed beads I need to do something with.............(scratches head) and some little beads in shades of blue..........they'd be ok on a safety pin I think.............love to see yours when you've done it.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all, what a fantastic thread - it really has inspired me x

Was wondering if any of you lovely people could help me .... I bought an Angel Christmas tree decoration at a Christmas Craft Fair in Brentwood in December. The lady who makes them gave me her card and offered to show me how to make them. Unfortunatley, I have lost the card. The lady lives in Luton and offers workshops to people who want to learn how to make these beautiful decorations.

The angels / fairys are set on baubles and have fabric faces with pipe cleaner arms and legs - sorry for the poor description!! They really are beautiful and have a lot of detail in them.

If anyone has the faintest idea what I am talking about or knows the lady who makes them, I would love to hear from you!!

Thanks everyone x

Not been here for ages, and everyone has been so busy, there is so much to catch up on. This is the latest little raggy doll to be made for a friend, she has furry bootees, and not big fluffy feet by the way! I never can get these pictures very small.......... must try harder

But hello to all, life has kept me busy, maybe I can sit now and have a cuppa nd a catch up

Lovely doll sams - afraid I'm guilty of doing nothing in the craft line at the minute..........been decluttering and trying to make space for craft stuff so I can get at it easier without my back giving in on me............lol
I did get my scrapbooks out and intended to do a bit more but didn't get around to it........I still need to print photos so have now made a list (to add to all the others) about what I have to do..................lol

Daisy - I've just googled 'craft workshops in Luton and it seems there are a few but I think you might have a bit of a trawl to find the right one.
If you've still got details of the Brentwood fair like the phone number of who organised it, they should have a list of stall holders I think. Sorry can't help more.

Thanks Mary - I have spent so many hours searching the net, this was my last hope! Although, being the bright spark that I am, I totally forgot about contacting the Brentwood centre for her details :o

I will call on Monday & see if they keep stallholders contact details

Thanks x
