Has anybody ever made a mobile phone cover ? I've just got a new one and don't want it clanging about in the bottom of my bag like the old one.......thought a little cover would be nice but don't really know where to start:o

I crocheted one, just made it up as I went along, a little wider than double the width of my phone and a little longer than the length and then crocheted it up the side and across the bottom. Something like felt would be ideal, easy enough to sew it together and turn inside out :)

There will be about 6-8 of us, we'd thought of making candles, bath bombs etc... but I was hoping someone would have some more suggestions of how to structure, anything else.... Should be a laugh though :T:T

Structure? Don't have too much wine before the candle making, could be dangerous :rotfl:

You could try some melt and pour soap. Have a look back through the thread, MidnightRaven has some fab ideas for it!
Jewellery making could be good, have a look on the jewellery thread for inspiration.
Sounds like it will be fun, let us know what you decide to do and how you get on :)

Don't have wine before painting pottery either - I went to a pottery party, had wine - and then painted the birthdates wrong on the two mugs I was decorating! :o:rotfl: Oops!

Hi Mary - how about something like this from Made by Petchy's blog (see link below)? This case is for an iPod but could easily be adapted for a mobile phone (just the same but without the little hole in the bottom for the wire)

IPOD1.jpg Here's a linkto the tutorial if you fancy it.

I wish I'd made one for mine as it's scratched to pieces from bowling around my bag with all my other rubbish :o! It's been on my list for about two months but my bag phase continues so the phone case will have to wait until I've moved on from making bags!
