Love it love it! Check out Sew Scrumptious's blog for a floral themed swap which ends on Monday. You could sign up for it and then cross your fingers or drop massive hints that your swap partner makes you one in lovely cath kidston-style fabrics!! :D

Me again. On the ball today with crafting ideas

Has anyone seen anything like this about?
    http://www.partydelights.co.uk/images/easter/EASTTOY10.jpg

I was thinking instead of buying my little nieces an Easter egg each I would get a few eggs and fill with an assortment of little sweeties - like the coop do 3 for £1 on gummy sweets etc and see if i can find/make a little Easter basket for them each with a little chick or too as well.

    Hobbycraft had them
Hobbycraft, pack of 12 for £1.99

she grinch Here's a linky to a tutorial for making baskets out of card. It was posted on the cardmaking thread a while back.

Slightly off topic - I've finished my baby "card" If anyone wants a peek I've posted pics on my blog. I can now get back to making my denim bag. I need to work out the handles so I can make another two for Christmas presents.
  • PepPop - thanks for the explanation re "handmade tags". Love your baby shoes and box. I have left a comment on your blog.

in the beach hut - thanks for posting the link on how to make the HMT's...... and congrats on your sj's musings win.

I'm off to eBay some bits and bobs now - have been very naughty in the past 12 hours and managed to spend more on craft bits than I should've really!

Does anyone know the best place for buying labels that say home made .I want people to realise I have made my humble offerings

Hey, have you ever used vistaprint?
I ordered a rubber stamp that says
"handmade by me" which I stamp on the back of cards but could be used for stamping on labels too...
I ordered one for someone else who crafts with their name on. They are great quality and often you only need to pay postage on their things, free products
    HTH :)

    Hi Boys and Gals,
I asked a few pages back "is knitting with chunky needles easier than skinny ones?" and also is there a type of wool that is easier to knit with? any tips for avoiding big holes and loops?

Got a great crafty treat today, would make a brilliant gift for someone http://handmadeheartfelted.blogspot.com - it is a car scraper for the ice, but it keeps your hand warm while you do it! I've got one and they are brilliant! Really good tutorial from Little Birdie blog. Think I'm going to make one for my partner and Dad

If anyone could help with the knitting queries, I'd be grateful! :) x

Jamtart I know I'm a bit late here but if you're starting off I would use double knitting wool and 4mm needles. - OOPs thought I was a bit late in saying this Susan946 beat me to it

    Poppy Your bracelets are lovely.

Liesa I love your ghosts

Whoopidoo I'VE JUST BECAME YOU 100TH FOLLOWER :T:j:j
