Sorry to butt in but whats wrong with Photobucket today? All my pictures have disappeared from my blog! Anyone else having the same problem?

I can see small tabs of mine, but the actualy photo's are not loading, I get blank boxes. Possibly a temp glitch?

And, while I'm here - nice cross stitch back there by the way!

I once knitted a baby blanket but haven't knitted since and really don't have the time to get started at the moment. But it is a relaxing hobby I think, and some very nice patterns about

PHEW!!! It's taken me about 2 weeks but I have finally read this thread from start to finish! And I have all my pages ect bookmarked and ready to go! Planning to do a lot more home made stuff this year.. I'm not a sewer or knitter so will be other stuff plus hampers etc. So hello Ladies, I hope you dont mind me popping by and joining in!

Also plan to get a wee stall later in the year of homemade stuff at local fetes and try to sell some stuff...

Thanks to the posters (who I pressed the thank button for) who did the 'make your own bow' and 'can ashtrays'.. so far Ive made about 10 wrapping bows now from magazines and have lots of pre-cut strips to make more. Ive made 6 ashtrays too.. old beer can's of the OH's!!

        Also:
        - Ive made some jewellery for myself out of old jewellery I had and have my jewellery and bead collections getting stocked up to make lots of jewellery.. poppy has been great source of inspiration over on the jewellery making thread.. can't wait to get it all and get started! Ive done a wee bit before but want to get into it more.
        - Ive made 4 cards now (2 birthday, 2 baby) i think they were okay but not brill - next task is to take on the card making thread but I dont see myself making 100's of card for christmas etc!
        - Ive been buying storage boxes in poundland and sorting all nmy bots and bobs into an order so quite pleased with myself
        - started making journal jars for my Mum & my MILs Mothers days presents. The jars are done (poundland again for the jars!!), I have bought the journals (tescos), just need to decorate them and then print off and cut up all the questions and then curl them and stick them in the jars.

Glad I'm now up to date on the thread phew!

you are more than welcome, when I originally started out doing them I was so surprised at how easy both the bows and the cans were.. and they are so quick and quirky.. so glad my idea came in useful xxx

They look ideal, thank you, will save the pattern and give them a try once I get some wool. What wool did you use?

I used double knitting for these. They do turn out really nice. If you look on the main site they've got loads of different patterns and they update them twice a year.

There's a christmas card thread??!! I only just manage to keep up with this thread and the sewing one (and my blog) at the same time as making things! Think I'll have to give up work to fit all this in :rotfl:
      5. Does anyone know the best place for buying labels that say home made .I want people to realise I have made my humble offerings

Do you want labels to stitch on, ie knitted or sen gifts, or are they for papercraft LittleAnna. I bought some labels to stitch on to my knitted and sewn gifts for my grandchildren. Mine say

Handmade for you by Grandma N..........
If I forget to sew one on their mummys all bring the item next time they visit and ask for their label.
Do a google search for personalised craft labels
