we have several public cash & carrys in the city
I get these jars there
29p, 49p & 89p
1st time i went i got loads (probably 100 or so, as they were such a good buy) but they had them the next time i went, probably about 6 months later, i dont go that often but they always have these or something similar, i have used these for many many jar gifts
its worth looking to see if there are some near you, there are bound to be, the minimum spend is £250 -
Thanks for the link to the broomstick lace it looks great!0

Susan42 - I've just looked at your blog and you're not far from me - can you see me waving
Have had a good read but must stop being a slacker and do the ironing. Catch you all later.

Sadly there is nothing like that here. My only option has been Lakeland and there is no way I can justify the expense. Even ASDA haven't had the £1 jars in.0 -
are you sure there is nothing like that near you?
where i go, is just on the outskirts of the city
i have to say, in a pretty grotty area, just at the back of an industrial estate
its not a place you even pass to go anywhere, its kinda out on its own
i just googled cash & carry for my area and got nothing
googled wholesalers, and they all came up
worth a try perhaps
i didnt know these were here until someone told me, and i have lived here many years0 -
I'm sure. The nearest one to me will be well over an hours drive away. There is a cash and carry on an industrial estate near me, but they only do food, no homewares. You're very lucky! Great bargains.0

:(thats a shame
you will just need to have a friend living over that way
and ask them to pop in the cash & carry on their way to visit you:D0 -
hi jollymummy, i cant see you waving, but only lived here a few months...lol

I think charity shops are getting wise to our buying for crafting! I am finding small empty tins and containers for £1 each! They should be 20p  They used to be!
