    HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL

We were late getting up, but no sweat, Turkey is cooked and sliced ready to re-heat in gravy. I have prepped the vegetables ready to cook and the table is set. OH has been out and cleared the path to the gate, no wish to have DD1 slip and break her leg again!!!

Breakfast was sausage, bacon and tomato with croissant, should keep us going until lunch at 3pm, have recorded the Queens speech although we can watch it later on BBC2.

Right off for a coffee and maybe a little mince pie!!!

Have a wonderful day with your families..........and remembering those who are not with us today.

    Morning.

It's is morning now. Everyone is still in bed though. There is plenty of snow outside. The present selection is a bit poor after Air France lost all our bags, but Walmart shopping provided some.... 23 for lunch today and I don't have to do a thing but eat...... Cheers and have a great day

    Happy Birthday Edinburgh Lass:beer:
I would just like to wish you all a very happy christmas and to thank you all for being you
Hope you all have a wonderful day

Why thank you! Birthday treat from DD was a lovely cooked breakfast and she has the gammon and cola in the slow-cooker but all her early exertion has caused her to fall asleep now :rotfl::rotfl:

Off for a leisurely bath now using all my Body Shop bargains and Pink please pass on Festive Greetings to Haribo ;)
  • Happy Christmas all.

I should have stuck to being a vegetarian. The duck smoked so much that it broke our on-its-way-out oven. :o I'll post a pic later!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

    Happy Birthday Edinburghlass:bdaycake:

My greetings come from snowy Scotland, having made the first part of our house move last Friday. Left in a blizzard and roads a bit hairy at times but here we are. Sooooo lovely to be 'home'. Plenty of snow still in the parks but the pavements are still a bit treacherous.

Thinking of you all today, and raising a glass to absent friends, so will think of anyone you have lost too.

    Big (((hugs)))

We went out to the pub last night, and then on to town to see our friends who are in the band which was playing.Dear Sons and some of their mates came too,and met up with more, so it was lovely-they never seem to mind having a couple of oldies around :rotfl:We left them to it and came home just after 12.They were much later .

Thanks to all the prep, the start to today has been leisurely,am expecting a whirlwind in the form of DN(6) and the rest of the family around 3.30.

    Thanks for the card Diva.
Wmf-thanks for the pm.A lovely Christmas to you all.

Everyone loved their homemade or bargain pressies, especially Mum, made her a scrapbook which I can add to instead of the usual photo's in a frame. Ds bought Dd baby socks, (bargain) for my future grandson - awww. Sil-to-be cooking dinner (ex chef) so I have my feet up and a coffee in hand. Looking forward to another year in the company of all you amazing people on MSE - thank you to all who made this fab Christmas what it is!

Now what can I make today cos my fingers are itching already. They say 'the Christmas you get you deserve' well all on here deserve praise, thanks and peace.

    afternoon all!

    Merry Christmas to you all:beer:

I hope you've all had alovely day so far.

(((hugs))) to cranky and smoky and everyone else missing someone special.

PP - hope you're having a great time and feeling better x

I had a text from Janet - she's spending christmas in hospital and says she doesn't know when they will let her out but at least she's well enough to text.
DS1 came yesterday evening but has been poorly with a tummy bug - no lunch for him, he went back to bed(not the drink as he never had any)
But the rest of us had a nice lunch and are soon off out to walk the big dog - little dog too old now, in fact I thought he'd passed away this morning as he was motionless but he was just asleep:D

I had some clothes, perfume, cds and money so I'll be hitting the sales soon!:j

    Have a great day x x x

forgot to mention DH got up and walked into the blanket box at the end of the bed and thinks he's broken a toe! poor thing its very sore!
    Do what you love :happyhear
