Hope everyone has an enjoyable day, am just about to have my second cuppa, waiting for DD2 to get up & open pressies (DD1 getting very impatient!) :beer:

I don't post very often but I read OS whenever I can and it's very helpful. I'll be making a real effort to be far more OS starting in January (Needs Must!).

I want to say Happy Christmas to everyone, but especially to those people who are feeling lonely and to those who are missing loved ones.

Thank you all for your support during the last few months. Grumpy the House Elf is having a marvellous time, and helped me open my presents as well as opening his own! he's been up since 5:10am, but has just been collected by the children from the neighbours where we are eating Christmas dinner. I have seized the chance to have a coffee in peace while he's gone to open his presents.

I hope you all have the kind of Christmas that you want and deserve, and Grumpy and I wish you peace and joy.:xmassmile

Turkey was in the sc which turned itself on at 4 this morning, cooked beautifully in a glass of white wine and some butter and pepper, its now been transfered to the oven with some bacon on to crisp up, gravy will be made in the sc.

Presents have been opened here, dd was up before 9 which is a miracle in itself :rolleyes:, everyone loved their gifts, I got two lots of lovely perfume, and a digital camera from oh :T

DDs have just opened their presents to each other and we will wait till later to open our presents to them.

Dds not very amused as suddenly our freeview has no signal :eek: - not sure if it is our aerial or the tv.

They are retuning it and I will see if the small telly in the kitchen works later - they will not be pleased if they miss the Christmas specials etc.

DH has been clearing all clutter while house is up for sale and all board games etc are in storage. Might have to dig up a pack of cards or use laptop for catchup if they are desperate later.

DD's didn't get up till 7.45 :T, although DD1 was told to get back to sleep at 1.50am:D.

They've opened stockings and MIL's presents who's just been, saving the rest till later.
