OS Festive Daily Thread - It's Christmas Eve!!!

Hello,

My first Christmas down under and all is well.

Have had a lovely croissant and chocolate fruit breakfast and all is looking good in the kitchen.

We have -

Turkey joint ( just enough for 1 adult and 3 children ) cost $20
Chipolatas
Cauli cheese
Braised red cabbage with cranberry jus
Carrots
Peas
Cauli
Mangetout
Brussels with bacon
Roast potatoes,sweet potato,carrots and parsnips

For dessert ice cream fruit bites and later apple crumble and custard.

Have bought just enough of each veg to suit everyones appetite.IE - 8 mangetout and 6 brussels.......


We are going to the wave pool this afternoon so will work it off diving and swimming.
