    Merry Christmas everyone!

We've been having problems with the internet lately -not being able to access several login pages and general slowness-it's a pain in the bum I can tell you:rolleyes::rolleyes: Anyway, thought I'd get on while I can to wish everyone a merry Christmas.

As usual on Christmas Eve I'm to be found in the kitchen up to my nipples in stuffing :D

Everything is going according to plan, there's plenty of food and booze in the house, everything is wrapped up, our tree looks lovely and we even have snow on the ground for the first time on decades. Got my mum and dad coming tomorrow- hopefully they'll push off early to see my gran who is celebrating her 102nd Christmas this year bless her.

Have a good one, peace and goodwill to all, jingle jingle!

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Having a rum and coke (wahey!) and about to check out the Norad Santa website before beckoning in DS for a nose :D

Wrapped up the last of the pressies, had to do an emergency dash to Toys R Us to return something we'd bought DS (on behalf of his great grandparents) as it turns out my brother and SIL have bought the same thing eek!!! Anyway refunded and substitute item now purchased :)

Can't wait til the kids go to bed and me and H can exchange gifts :D We do it Xmas eve as with the kids having so much stuff we don't get chance to sit and open ours in peace ;)

Festive Felicitations to you all xxxx

Everything is now done, I had a slight miffy attack just after lunch OH being 'difficult' air a little blue as I still had quite a bit to do and was starting to get very tired. No news from DS2 I hope hae has managed ok with his load to Carnforth and home again......

We have just had our supper, pork pie and salad, I had a large glass of red wine with mine. We were going to have bacon omelettes and salad, but to be honest I was just too tired, salad was an easy option.

I am off for a shower in a mo and then hunker down to watch TV until bedtime......

evening all! I've had a very hectic 24 hours! I spent all night working with DH in terrible conditions to deliver milk to all his customers in the countryside - we left at 12am:eek: and got home 11 and a half hours later exhausted, freezing and starving! I've had a sleep(3 hours) and caught up with most of my jobs - just.
The fire is now roaring, tea is cooking, DS1 is on his way home and I'm finally ready to begin christmas. I've only got tomorrow off work so aim to make the most of it.:j

I hope you all have a lovely time. (((hugs))) to the poorly ones, Tris and PP especially. My friend Jan is now in hospital for Christmas and feeling very poorly with an enlarged kidney and an infection, she's just not getting over her big op so please add her to your prayers.

Merry Christmas to you all x x x

    :xmastree::xmastree::xmastree: A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS :xmastree::xmastree::xmastree:

Its lovely to be here:j:j:j I have missed you loads.

Just want to wish you all a peaceful, safe and happy Christmas.

We are having a slightly unusual Christmas due to my little mishap but we (now) have loads of food in, everything is as done as its going to be and we are warm and snuggly.

I am very much looking forward to phoning my Uncle James in NZ at 9.15 tonight.
I spent the morning listening to RTE whilst Mark ran himself ragged:o
He is currently finishing the cannelloni he started eariler.

Have a lovely evening and a joyful and peaceful day filled with everything you desire.

I will be lighting four candles tonight for all of you dear friends.

The first is for anyone of our OS "family" that have any health problems or worries.

Number two is for anyone facing a Christmas without a loved one.

Candle three is for any one with worries, cares or troubles.

And candle four is for everybody that comes on
to advise, console, teach, support and just have a chat iwth.
We all survived a bl00dy tough year.
    Thats worth a candle(at least)

Special hugs to Jayne, George and Smokey & co.

M says a big hello and thanks to everyone.

    Take care.
    Ann xxxx
