Just been looking at flights to Majorca for summer and found one for about 100 quid. If my friend will have me I can stay with her and can book it when I get paid on the 23rd, instead of saving the holiday £100 this month. HOW EXCITING!!!

Fantstic news on the flight - £100 is excellent :D.

I agree re the cheap vs good seats - even if they are more than twice the price, if it's going to be a treat, then it needs to be a good treat.

I'm currently trying to dissuade myself from using all my carefully collected Boots points for a bottle of perfume I really really want ...

I was meant to be saving them for a camera ... but am due a phone upgrade in March & can always choose one with a good camera on it.

Free perfume is quite important when there is no man to buy it for me

They do have more than one use :rotfl:

Hey all, been at mum and dad's last night to take the Xmas stuff down. Back now but off to Leeds for a meeting and then a night oot tomorrow with the other managers.

Spoke to Mum last night about renting a different flat after my job is up next year just for a change, and she suggested I look now and she will move the deposit from this flat into the next one and help to tide me over. The deposit in this flat belongs to her and she says she doesn't need it back right now and it's no bother to do this so I've emailed some letting agents and can view on my days off at the end of the week/beginning of next week. As long as the rent isn't much more it would make a nice change for the New Year! (I rent but had no deposit at all saved when I came home so she gave me £800 or so to secure this place)

Hi all, Had a good weekend but have a bit of a sore ulcery/throaty thing now. Too much booze over the weekend but great fun.:beer::beer:

Been to a comedy gig, saw Mum and Dad for lunch, had a drink with a friend on Friday night, saw the twins and a friend for drinks on Sat, another friend for lunch and then stayed at my mates last night for dinner and stayed over last night. Her wee boy is fab! Need to pop into work tomorrow to take flowers in for my management team and collect/drop off my secret Santa.:xmassmile then got a viewing in the afternoon for a flat round the corner. Money stuff is okay. Have saved £30 from last months cash to go towards the long old month that is Jan. I wanted it to be £80 but it's not too bad after all that socialising :)

Need to clean the flat a bit tomorrow, plan my food for the rest of the week (paid Thursday) and hopefully take out the recycling if I can skid down the road

Want to start my new diary this week so can any of you kind peeps tell me how to link this one to it when I do? Thanks.

I love how the snow doesn't prevent you from doing all your normal things:T

To link the old and new diary I think you need to open MSE up twice so it's open in 2 separate windows. Start the new diary using one of the windows and open the old diary in the other window. Then you can copy the address of the old diary from the http://www.....
bit at the top and paste it into the new diary.

There might of course be an easier way. Looking forward to reading the new diary:)
