Se I have thought about the tax man and am saving seperately anyway so can take it from that.

The South Beach is an evil no fat, no sugar, no fun plan I sometimes do. It shifts weight from your stomach first and I can lose half a stone in a fortnight, which is about all I ever seem to need to do. There's a book for it and I just follow it to the letter.

off to Aldi for bread. Back soon X

    Quick update:

    Wrap 1 more present
    Write Xmas cards DONE
Post Xmas cards NOT GOING TO RISK THE PO TODAY
Fill out passport form and take to the PO FILLED OUT BUT NOT GOING OUT TODAY WITH THE WEATHER, WILL DO TOMORROW
    Quick clean of bathroom DONE
    Food shop DONE
Sort out the hamper of random stuff that lives in the hall DONE

Not going to get any more done out of the house today so will write the few cards that I have, wrap the present and crack on with some more housework. The SC is on with a chicken thigh lemony/garlicky thing which smells lovely.

I need to buy more Xmas cards I have just realised!

Right today I have done my list and also:

    Hoovered
    Stripped my bed
    Mopped floors

Also need to do toenails tonight and look at budgets/plans/meal plans etc. Is anyone up for a challenge for next year?!

Mmm Lula I'm thinking, I'm thinking. Take it you're not doing Clothes Challenge again?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can't do Make £ a day as I am so tidy here that I have nothing to sell! Deffo going to keep on GC as I love it and it keeps me on track. Apart from that....Nope still thinking. Going to do something longer but still need to play with budgets.

Okay for next year I hereby declare that I am going to save an extra £100 a month towards my hols. That's £300 a month to savings. I DO pay £80 a month to loans which I could pay off instead but need my buffer money for when my job finishes and would also like a hol so will keep the loans running this year to come and then reasses.

Just looked at last years budgets and I'm SO much better off now X

Right, saved a bit of cash from last weeks spends so now have £91.50 to spend this week. :j:j:j

Xmas do is this Saturday but meal is nearly paid for by work and have had some good money news:

    1. Work are sending us Xmas pressies in the post and it may well be High St vouchers (it was last year) for use in the sales!
    2. My friend is on the case trying to get is press tix from her mate for We will Rock You
    3. Another friend is going to get me discount on a top I've seen so I'll get it for £21.

Not sure whether to take this from my personal shopping money or my spends money as if I can keep my spends down I can take it from that and keep my shopping money (£54.50 left after the passport and a few bits) for the sales too and do some right shopping!!! Think I will try for this just now but if Sat is very expensive then I might move it from that. Feel a bit guilty buying myself stuff so close to Xmas but shopping is done and could do with a casualish top.

    Hello,

great stuff on having extra spends ... I'm looking forward to having an extra £300 a month when DF.

As to the clothes challenge ... havent decided yet. Just the thought of it makes me feel deprived & that makes me want to spend more :rotfl:

Yay to work pressies, discounted tickets & fabby new tops :j.

Just been checking out Hairpsray at the local theatre, but have no idea which seats to go for, stalls, royal circle or upper circle ?

I dont want cheap rubbish seats, but am paling a bit at the thought of £45 a go for the posh ones :o
