Lea and Perrins Thai Lime and Coriander 5 Minute Marinade, up the barbecue aisle in Tesco Hindley....scanned at £1.56, yellow SEL marked from £1.66 to £1.16. Instant refund!! It went well with the organic chicken thighs from the 'shift-it shelf'!!

I always try to use a self scan till to avoid some poor checkout operator getting any flak from the Tesco thought police - you know the routine - rather than spend time sorting the problem out they will spend twice as much time rodding some poor soul for not spotting it.

Usually say - i didn`t look at the price untill I checked my reciept.

90% of mince is wrong in Blackpool - as are Egypt books £8.97 sticker £9.97 scan.

Fresh British Diced Thigh Turkey - SEL £1.08lb Pack £1.48lb - Bought 3 - Got R&R. Made an error myself in buying 2 PSP Games totalling £62.94. Got full refund though an kept the 5p off Petrol voucher.

Fresh Brit Lamb Chops - SEL £4.48lb Pack £4.48lb - Bought 2 - Offered refund in cash until pointing out R&R policy, CS said "Yes, we have got two ways of doing it, if that's the way you want it, that's ok." - Got R&R in cash refund.

H/L Tender Beefsteak - SEL £8.96kg Pack £9.99kg - Bought 2 - Got R&R. & Frank Sinatra - Legends in concert DVD - SEL £4.95 Label £4.96 Scanned £4.96 - Got R&R.

Altogether a good day - £19.84 worth of free meat/poultry, £4.96 worth of DVD, a 5p petrol voucher and not to mention all the free Tesco points. :j

Had a quick check can't see mentioned recently, Silverside/Topside joint of beef on special offer £5.48 SEL, pack and til £6.48.

My nine year old daughter got a nice surprise tonight. She was spending some of her birthday money on a Crazy Frog GBA Game stickered £14.96. It went through the till at £19.99.

Customer services simply asked us for 1p and with a big smile gave us £20 back. My daughter was delighted when I explained why she had received the game for nothing.

I hope this hasn't started an addiction or she'll be a nightmare to shop with in future. We'll be in the supermarket for hours.
