Just lost our r&r virginity at the local Tesco Xtra
Purchaced 2 duvet covers sets one priced £2 more than the other (as they were 2 different sizes) we were overcharged £2.00 not the usual ticketing error but a checkout opperater error.
so i went to customer services in pointed out the error I was refunded no question plus an appology,GREAT RESULT thanks Tesco's,
Upon telling the wife to say she was happy was an understatement, she was almost dancing in the car park when she reaised we had just replaced our bedding for FREE
from now on she's going to keep a note of all the prices as we go round & see how oftern we are overcharged.
    FEELS GREAT:beer: :j :T

Health Living Mini Chicken Fillets, SEL £2.97, pack £2.99

    Hope this helps

This scanned at the lower price (£2.97) for me despite the pack stating £2.99. Not a problem as I get through plenty of chicken.

    Success on:
    * 500g packs of Fresh Premium Scottish Beef Mince (SEL £1.30, pack £1.45)
[NB - I got R&R on an 800g pack earlier in the week, they removed the SEL for that but obviously not the others!]

    * Ecover washing powder with TMF label (SEL £3.72, scanned £4.39)

    R&R with no probs.

R&R'd the following due to underpriced SEL's:

    Finest BBQ Sirlion & Ribeye Steak Party Pack x3, Labelled @£9.44, £10.61 & £9.68.

    Fresh Chichen Strips x 3, Labelled £2.99 SEL £2.97.

    Fresh Diced Lamb x 2, labelled @ £4.66 & 4.84.

A 5p off petrol coupon which also enabled me to get a £1.50 discount on my £30 worth.

It took over an hour to get my R&R due to cashier and store manager being really difficult and had to wait whilst they double checked on their computer etc. They were just closing though, which didn't help much.

But I stood my ground though. Going to have a big BBQ today with friends compliments of Mr T.

Wish they would !!!! up the beer prices though!!!

Hmm. What you missed at Blue Boar was Medium Chickens, £1.95 per kg on product and £1.78 per kg on shelf. Lemon Sole £11.xx on product and £10.xx on shelf.

Initially CS said I was right on both, then went off to get SELs and said I was wrong on the Chicken. So after protesting that I wasn't (she'd found a £1.95 sel), I went back to the shelf and got the £1.78 SEL and showed them that.

Then manager tried to tell me that because both the correct and incorrect labels were displayed that the £1.95 was correct. Naturally, I didn't let them get away with breaking the law.

None of the 3 staff that dealt with this were at all happy about it.

Saw somebody getting a R&R on a wine yesterday. It was a sparkling vintage Rose and was called something beginning with 'C' (a bit like 'Covonia' - I just can't remember it, sorry! :o It was a Hungarian-sounding name - or that's what I thought it sounded like )

It scanned at £8.99 but was supposed to be less (half-price?).

Sorry about the hazy details but thought this might help someone.

(I got an R&R on mince - SEL was £2, pack and charged £2.29-ish. Not sure if this has been mentioned - there's always so many mince misprices)
