Purchaced Nintendo Gameboy Advanced game (Mario Tennis) with SEL of 14.99, and it had a big sticker on it for 14.94 !!!
Result...
I was a little worried at the customer services, but they just refunded and I walked away puzzled and happy!!!

OK, last night at Tesco's Extra in Pollock was interesting for a first timer.

Bought 150 quid's worth with a £24 R&R refund, for the following items:

Large Rump steak x 2
Large Chicken
8 finest Drumsticks
2 finest Chicken fillets


Went to CS and she went to check it all, and came back and she said all were fine. I disagreed, then the burly manager stepped in, and said he didn't need to prove anything, but none the less I said they were wrong and attempted to show them which he didn't stop me. We checked the chicken first and he was needless to say not happy when I showed him wrong labels of 10p/kg difference. Next up the beef, which he said was deffo right, and low and behold well out by 30p/kg but they had two different shelves so nearly got me there. Then I said "I wouldn't mind if it was like 2p out but 30p, so did you think you made a fair comment at the front of the store trying to embarrass me?" "not really he said but please show us the rest as they must be corrected if they are wrong!" Then the wee girl butted in about a variable price, and I explained that it was still wrong on the label no matter what and I was over priced. They folded and he said to her "just check it all" and refund it. He then apologised a bit but not much. On the way back to the CS desk, I then played innocent and asked what would happen. She says that I get the goods and a cashback onto my card.

When we were doing the refund she asked had I noticed this at the till, and said no, just when checking, and that I had a good memory for prices!! I couldn't look at her by this point.

Also filled the car up with 85 litres at 5p/litre discounted fuel with my over £50 spend.

All in all a decent result. But there was at least 6 other rump steaks there and was tempted but felt I'd only take what I'd use. (Leave some for others!)

Took ages to check stuff though but worth it for over 50 quid saving in reality!!

Also gammon in a honey type glaze in foil pack in chiller priced £3.98 shelf sel was £2.98 £25 of r&r just in time for school hols as kids eat me out of house and home

Watch out for the expired cordless phone SELs - picked up a BT 1100 cordless double pack today, SEL of £29.99 charged £34.95. Offer expired on 16/07 but SEL had not been removed - it has been now. Possible nationalaly at the lazier stores.

Also, the Xbox360 Core World Cup special Pack has been reduced to £239.95 (or there-abouts) - this is quite recent and is a £20-ish saving. Well worth scanning if SELs have been updated but till price hasn`t - £20 over charge would be an easy argument to win ......

Got the sparkling rose previously mentioned today at Warrington extra, apparently the rose isn't in the offer which is why it is scanning at full price but all the SEL's and white promotion labels do not mention any difference and they had them on an aisle end together. They were already being moved from Warington extra as I took the CSA to show but def worth a look in your stores. I did have a look in Atherton but couldn't find them

Also, the "bigger pack better value" individually wrapped fillet steak bag

Again SEL removed from Warrington extra

They must have re-printed the SEL, because in my local store there is a separate one for the rosé, but as you say worth looking if they've been put on an end together somewhere.
