Tesco misprices thread III - please only post misprices here

No R&R joy for me until I saw the following:

* Tesco Beef Joint - 500g. SEL £3.99, Pack price £4.99.
(this is the one that comes ready to cook in the silver pack (although the outside of the pack is black)).

Bought two packs and got a tenner R&R with no probs. SEL removed (and CS had a good look at the other meats on display).

Tesco Finest Oak smoked pork loin joint ( near the bacon/gammon) SEL £6.85p/kg - charged £7.35p?kg

R+R no problem.

Today found 500g healthy living beef mince, SEL £1.93, scanned £2.24, and 500g turkey thigh pieces, SEL £2.96/kg, scanned £3.26/kg. Had to have a 20 minute discussion with the duty manager about why I'd been overcharged, and got the distinct impression that I was being blamed for their mis-labelling!
Really an unpleasant experience - shouldn't the duty managers lead by example in being polite and helpful to customers? SEL removed on turkey and lean mince, but I don't think they noticed the regular beef mince was the same - this was Elephant & Castle metro.

Also discovered by chance:
Tesco own brand Smooth Peanut Butter (454g), SEL 89p, scanned @ 91p.

Full R&R Coventry Arena - only to go and leave the bloomin meat carrier bag on the cs desk!! Only noticed when got home, called the store but no-one has seen it.

Minced Beef 250g pack: SEL and large sign 62p but Pack price 72p.
This is a fixed price pack so it is best to check it if possible in your store!

Smoked and unsmoked Bacon joints: SEL £2.99/kg Pack £3.30/kg

Diced Turkey Breast and Diced Turkey Thigh (Hungarian) were both wrong also.

Scottish ground mince finest sel was lower than pack price.
Steak mince 800g sel was lower than pack £3.28 £2.98?
Kipper Fillets prepacked in chiller £9.94 £9.99

Also tesco value chicken breasts were priced higher than sel.Going back tomorrow for them
Need bigger freezer now!

Wow, what a day today.

Samsung Digimax A503 Digital Camera. - SEL £71.86, charged £71.94.
BT Studio 1100 Trio Cordless Phones. - SEL £45.95, charged £49.95 bought x2
Bratz Rock Angel 16" Bicycle. SEL £34.97, charged £34.98. Only bought 1 of these as I had filled up my trolley!!

R&R of £206.85 no problem, in fact they were congratulating me as if I had won the lottery and to be quite honest, I felt that I had. Along with the 206 clubcard points and £1.50 off fuel, a good day all in all.

Now which tescos can I hit tommorrow? Thinking of giving up my full time job and selling on eBay instead.:beer: :j :A :T

that is fantastic!!!! well done! but what were you charged for the bike and how did you know they would scan at higher price?

Sorry mate, put the wrong price in. I paid £34.98 and the SEL was £34.97. A whole one pence different in my favour.

I took all the goods to the self scanner.

Tesco Fresh Premium Scottish Beef mince SEL 1.30, packs priced at £1.45. Scans at the higher price. Apparently the barcodes don't match

No luck with the Tesco Funky 6ft quick up pool. SEL £19.91, marked on the box at £29.91, but scans at the lower price
