Had a R&R tonight on a couple of Ecovers (Mrs Clasics says we are now covered for washing powder until into 2007! LOL) and a GBA game. The funny thing was the CS lady seemed genuinely excited when she had returned from checking the Ecover SEL. 'It's your lucky night' she shouted from about 20 yards away (I thought I'd pulled but alas she was talking about R&R) ! LOL! Then proceeded to explain the R&R policy in full to a very earnest and faux perplexed looking Mr Clasics. The funny thing is she'd explained R&R to me 2 weeks ago! What a memorable person I must be! Not. Great fun....

PS Finest veal steaks. Special offer on SEL of £20/kg reduced to £18/kg but pack price £20/kg. Could have taken them to the cleaners (had at least 15 packs wrongly priced) but maybe it's my working class roots, but I would feel a bit guilty eating veal....:o

    What GBA game please?

Sorry, should have said, it was The Incredibles - stickered £19.94, scanned £19.99. Only 5p overcharge, but as Mr T says, every little helps.

(Tesco Finest Honey Cured Gammon Steaks) I think the pack price is actually £10.31/kg not £10.13 as I got some at the weekend. Maybe make it easier to spot? Sorry if I'm wrong, btw...

500g packs mince priced £1.20 sel some packs marked £1.40 r&r no problem
  • Willow Farm Chicken drumsticks & thighs - 825g pack

Sel £2.39, pack and scan £2.99

    2 packs R&R with a smile.

Love getting a meat R&R at Newton Abbot store, cos they are usually completely on the ball in the meat dept, so it's really difficult to catch them out.

    Mis-priced mens shirts around.

I think some of the £4 shirts have been reduced to £3 and some £6 reduced to £4. But some of the ex £6 shirst are marked as £3 and scanning at £4.

Some are also scanning at £1.50. I picked up two different £6 reduced to £3 shirts. The first went through at £1.50 the next at £4 at which point the till operator called the supervisor and they wouldn't let me have the £4 shirt unless I agreed not to complain. So I let them keep the £4 shirt.

    Hi,

just sent hubby to mr T's for some meat and washing powder.

The eco stuff unfortunately is already priced at £4.29 on the SEL so he didn't want to risk this, he just got a small box of Tesco 2 in 1 powder for £1.25.

However i told him to check all minced beef as per numerous other posts here and he found some 500g packs of irish lean beef mince £2.24 written on pack £1.98 on sel. cs tried to offer him a refund of the difference but he politely mentioned the full refund policy and she agreed and gave him the £6.72.

Not as good as my £8.22 on Monday, but hey every little helps ;)

Fresh Welsh Beef Thin beefsteak pack says £7.77/kg, SEL £6.77/kg, scanned at the higher price - full R&R £8 of free beef! CS lady said she was surprised we spotted that!

Got a free £6.97 Meatloaf DVD today as my first R&R. Shame I don't like them.

I spotted a Frank Sinatra DVD today and will get that tomorrow. More my style.
