Went to Tesco last night and it seems that all ties are half price. There was no mention of it in the shop, no flyers, posters, nothing. I bought a pack of 2 ties yesterday, priced at £5 but scans at £2.50 and one on Sunday, priced £3 and scanned at £1.50. In total, I bought 2 shirts and 3 ties for £12!! I think that's got a bit of value!!

As well as the Duder's steak & lamb mince, I saw that turkey mince is still wrong (at the store where I got R&R on it last week). All packs show £1.31, SEL says £1.20.

Left that though, and got Finest Skinless cornfed chicken breasts (should be £10.99 per kg according to SEL, all packs were showing £11.49 per kg). Got a crisp fiver back for that one....!

Also saw Finest Corn Fed chicken legs (SEL £2.99 per kg, packs all at £3.49 per kg).

Why pay more??! Just wish I was brave enough to pick up more than one pack each time, well done nickyvicar on 4 packs of steak as a first R&R!!

Mr T just loves giving meat away at the mo! :T
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Picked up last night:-

Healthy Eating Stir Fry Beef Strips, all packs mispriced, can't remember the figures.
Organic Skin-on Chicken Thighs, again can't remember figures.
Ecover Ecological Washing Powder, Try Me Free boxes, £4.39 at till, but supposed to be Reduced To Clear at £1.92.

R&R of almost £10 given willingly by girl in CS. My thanks to OP on the washing powder.

Btw, the old favourites - Lemon & Garlic Chicken and minced beef - were also mispriced, but I'm a bit bored with them now, so left them for others.

sel 11.97/kg goes through till at price on pack which is 12.97 /kg. In the words of the young man on that section - there's loads wrong today cause they were just thrown out this morning - we're expecting to busy becasue of the world cup ??? Don't suppose most of it will be sorted by tomorrow!

Also Found today in Bradley Stoke store in Bristol. They tried to refund me £1 (the price per kilo difference). Reminder of policy required!

Had a R&R tonight on a couple of Ecovers (Mrs Clasics says we are now covered for washing powder until into 2007! LOL) and a GBA game. The funny thing was the CS lady seemed genuinely excited when she had returned from checking the Ecover SEL. 'It's your lucky night' she shouted from about 20 yards away (I thought I'd pulled but alas she was talking about R&R) ! LOL! Then proceeded to explain the R&R policy in full to a very earnest and faux perplexed looking Mr Clasics. The funny thing is she'd explained R&R to me 2 weeks ago! What a memorable person I must be! Not. Great fun....

PS Finest veal steaks. Special offer on SEL of £20/kg reduced to £18/kg but pack price £20/kg. Could have taken them to the cleaners (had at least 15 packs wrongly priced) but maybe it's my working class roots, but I would feel a bit guilty eating veal....:o
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

    Hello everyone,

I joined the July grocery challenge at the beggining of the month and was finding that meat was taking a big portion of my budget. After coming across this thread and reading all of the posts with great interest i took the liberty of trying to find a mispriced item in tesco last night while i was there getting some bits.

I made a beeline for the prepacked meat section and within 60 seconds i had found that the 500g packs of turkey breast chunks had a sel of £2.49 per pack/£4.98 per kg yet the sticker on the pack said £2.74. I grabbed the last 3 on the shelf(2 british and 1 hungarian) and prayed to god that they were charged at the higher price. Sure enough they were so straight over to customer services i went. The cs girl took 1 of the packs and my receipt and when she came back she told me i was right, that it was there mistake and i would receive a full refund. :) YIPPEEE!!!!!

Thanks so much guys you are stars. I am sending hubby in 2moro for washing powder and more mispriced meat(it's only a small tecso so don't want to keep going in myself)

I also won slimmer of the week at slimming world and got to take 2 carriers of fruit and £1 in change home as my prize.

All in all a really good day.

can I just remind everybody again that this thread is only for posting new misprices that you see. I've had another clear up of the posts that aren't actual misprices.

    Thanks :)
