How're you keeping?
I've, (thankfully), not received a ban from a store, or an 'R&R only' ban, so can't offer any other info. I can only elaborate on this incident from last night.
Sorry Duder.
Hey I'm cool - hope you are too.
Perhaps I should have quoted the OP - ilikepoints - do tell, do!!

First there was....mcdonag wrote:Besides, where I live it is very central. I have 15 tesco's stores within my immediate area and it is not a problem for me to drive to others further away. Especially when I get large R&R's every time.

Got the washing powder from our local store today - £3.78 on shelf and charged £4.39. I told the SA before handing over cash, and she got the price checked. The supervisor who did this came back and said that there had been an error, refunded the cost but then put in the correct price. I said that I thought that I would keep the item for no cost as there had been an error, but she said that as I had not paid I had not been charged.
It was too hot to argue any more, but I phoned Tesco Stores 0800 505555 when I got home, and I am entitled to the money, and I just have to ask for the check out supervisor next time that I am in and say who I am and the name of the person I spoke to on the phone, and I will get my refund.
So persistence pays!
But the main thing is that the girl at head office said that if the price was on the receipt then that counted as charging, cash did not have to change hands in order to qualify for a refund.0 -

Or he may have used his R+R money to upgrade the Lada to a Bentley, thus increasing operational range.
And I STILL remember the first episode of JackanoryCan I help?0 -
Had a bit of a fight to get an R&R today - purchased two nets of oranges as on promotion - buy 2 for £2. No discount so off I go to CS . . .
Firstly they tried telling me that I hadn't picked up two of the same product. I said, yes I had and proved it. Then they said that only one of the packs had the offer on it . . .again they were proved otherwise.
Then they gave me the refund on one pack instead of both. I queried this and was told that "the discount only applies to the second product, therefore you only get that one free". I wasn't happy with this and was told "well, you've got one pack free". I pointed out their policy to them and they refused to refund the second pack until I suggested that they call a manager . . . suddenly the till is ringing and I got my refund.
A new one on me so I've written to HO to get them to clarify the situation on multi-buys so that I can go and brandish it to CS.
Dear oh dear, the things these CS people will try! Although I should have expected it as this particular CS person once accused me of changing price stickers on a product that was sealed in one of their security boxes . . .0 -

Never speak to the sales assistant at the time of purchase regarding an overcharge. Strictly speaking you had not been overcharged as you had not yet paid for the items! Always go to the Customer Service desk. If it has closed (most close at 10pm) then return to the tills and they will call the duty manager. Try not to leave it until the next morning as the error could be corrected overnight!Keep SmilingSite member number 24

I'm getting slightly p***** off with 'Hey Dude', quite frankly. Has he not got anything else to do apart from taking the p*** out of my posts. I think he may be a bit jealous of my success this month for some reason. Got a chip on his shoulder, I think. Obviously he was bullied at school due to an undersized penis, and this is his only means of payback.

These are the ones in Norfolk I go to all the time and can be verified on the Tesco's store locator, if you can be bothered. You may say that some are more than 30 minutes away from central Norwich and don't count as my immediate area.
Fair enough, but may I remind you that I live only 20 minutes away from Suffolk and that has about 25+ tesco's as well.
As my job requires me to go all over the country, I think I will have my cake AND eat it!!!
P.S.
Monday 13th December 1965 at 4:45pm was the first episode of Jackanory, so if you both remember this episode, then that puts you both well over 40 years old, and quite frankly, people of your age are generally more intelligent and worldly wise than to be bullying someone over the internet every time they write a helpful post to someone else. Unless you are both telling lies? Which is exactly what you accuse me of. And I have now proved myself not to be a liar.
Go pick on someone else, will ya? I'm bored with you now.
Over to you, hey dudey, dude, dude.
P.P.S. Wikipedia, interestingly suggests that the word 'dude' is slang and originally came from a term that meant a camel's penis.
Say's it all really.
I have deliberately posted this early in the morning so that loads of people can read what an utter and complete 'DUDE' you are.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
