    Hey Dude

    How're you keeping?

I was in one of the Peterboro' Tesco's last night with OH - hoping to get hold of some mis-priced Ecover. Saw last week they had the lower SEL on display, but no boxes with the 'Try Me Free' stickers on. So having left it a few days for the shelf to finally get re-stocked with these boxes, went in last night.
Shock! Horror! The stickered boxes were there, but the vital SEL had gone!
Anyway OH and I found a mis-priced CD and carried through the act of buying it, going outside, coming back inside and headed for CS.
There in front of us was this chap getting R&R-ed for the Ecover and several packs of meat. OH made the assumption that by the amount this chap was claiming R&R's for, he 'knew what he was doing'. OH made some comment to him about being an R&R-er, too.
Anyway, when this man left the store I followed after and caught up with him outside. I was keen to learn if he was an MSE'r too. He told me he knew all about Tesco's refund policy but that the Manager had just informed him that the R&R he'd just received would be the final one he'd have from that store, and that in effect he was banned!

Anyway, I was amazed to read the above post by ilikepoints and thought it had to be the same person I'd encountered earlier last night. But evidently, it wasn't.

I've, (thankfully), not received a ban from a store, or an 'R&R only' ban, so can't offer any other info. I can only elaborate on this incident from last night.

    Sorry Duder.

Mostly when I R&R, cs don't take any details from me but a couple have asked me to fill in a piece of paper with my name, address & post code etc.

I guess this is the only way that they can keep a record as I have filled it in myself, therefore giving my permission.

Or do HO keep a record via Credit Card No or other and advise a ban accordingly.

was turned down last night, notcied a HP printer the 1050 model at 84.99 and 2 labels with 84.97. it scanned at £84.99 so i promptly went to cs which had just closed and they said they couldnt do anything till they opened. i then asked for the manager and he came along and blankly said. " I am not going to give you a refund for that printer. You will have to come back tomorrow." Going to give it one last go today, hopefully they left one of the signs up, if not then it will be a ring to head office about it as 3 staff saw the signs + cctv evidence.

After 10pm? Not unusual as this is when CS desks tend to close...tbh, there was probably not even anyone in the store capable of processing a refund.

If the Duty Manager you spoke to is worth anything, he will have made a note of your details so that the problem can be resolved when you go back in.

I always look at the cs desk before I R&R and if they look familiar then I give it a miss and go to another of the 20+ tescos in my area.

my local tescos 2 quite close by are being very spot on with their meat pricings putting yellow reduced stickers on if the prices are out atall - but whey hey they slipped up on some mince so my freezer will look a little healthier tonight. I have only tried 2 stores so may venture a little further out of my way....

because of my insident last night with my voucher refusal...and my an r & r to compensate....i went on a bit of a binge today......3 out of 4 shops i walked out with one not bad....but the one that i did not get one in was the one that i went to last night..plus i am sure they knew me... as i was being folloerd by a few sa's..and the only scanner that works... there is a work station by it, and a guy followed me and pretended to work there, and when i went to put back a games boy game he went and someone else folloed me.....so will keep my nose clean there for a while...but today i had the shrek gameboy game. the ecover wash powder, and healthy living chicken breasts 2 in pack... pice on shelf 7.48 PER KG.. but 9.44 per kg on pack... when i went to customer service.... they were a bit dumb. first saying it wasnt the same, then they called manager and supervisor, and said they were going to work out the refund.... and then i shoed them the price gaurentee board... and the botton part... which i told them i had ony just read while waiting to pay.....so dont think they get much r & R'S going on there ...so i think i will be back there...soon....si o worked it out i have got £25.14 worth of stuff from tescos for FREE....so revenge for refusing my vouchers is very ...very...very..sweet......i could get used to this..hehehe
