LUSH sale update

I got my grab bag today at Lush at liverpool street. they had just had a delivery and they had got the valentines stuff in ! i walked away very chuffed with some magic mushrooms, x factor and Love soap and in my grab bag:dance: (which they were still making up) i got:

Chox away soap approx 100g
Noubar soap approx 100g
Big Blue bath bomb
Butterfly ball bath bomb
Sweetie pie jelly 100g
100g fair trade foot lotion
whoosh temple balm
ambrosia 50g

they was very helpful and even got a few samples of things i wanted to try thrown in very happy bunny :T

ooh d'you remember if they had many grab bags left? i'm really tempted to go for one last grab bag tomorrow

Had a fantastic trip to lush in bluewater, got a MASSIVE bag with around 1kg of angel delight soap, about 10bath bombs 2x gift sets worth 15.96 each and some ambrosia shaving cream, was fantastic, think I might go back tomorrow !

they had a order that afternoon and could see they were still putting them together, they have completly run out of xmas stock for bags so had to get stuff delivered.

I didnt see how many there were but i would imagine if u make it for 2moro you'll still get one. i phoned ahead to make sure

I'm not sure that I really agree with the idea of having to buy £20 of non-Christmas stock to be able to get £20 of Christmas stock, as some people spend the £20 on some items of Christmas stock which is why Lush have the items on sale for a few weeks after Christmas. Plus, I would say there is excitement in getting 'grab bag' as you don't know exactly what you will get and people get to try stock that they wouldn't normally consider but end up trying something new and liking it, therefore possibly buying it next time. I have never seen Lush sell stock at half price, they always do a spend X amount and get something free or a lucky dip. I believe that the policy on hatboxes/giftboxes needs to be uniform across all the stores, but I don't think selling them at 1/2 price is the answer.

Lush really emphasizes customer service and have mystery shoppers checking the quality of service within the stores, so I would say if you are unhappy with the service you received then let them know.

Exeter have grab bags now but despite the bags claiming to be worth £20, they must only just scrape in there.... it's a shame they're not as generous as other stores!
