Well I had my first experience of the grab bag today. I went into Lush in Hanley and they had apparently had some extra stock brought in for more grab bags so there were 2 stands with grab bags on.
I got:
Tramp shower gel 100g
Happy Hippy hair and body gel 250g
Noubar soap (about 100g slice)
2 x Supernova ballistics
Big Blue ballistic
Honey Bee ballistic
I was expecting loads of christmas bits so I was quite pleased to have current things, especially as I got 3 bottles of Snow Fairy for christmas!!0 -
Morning everyone
I havent been to Lush for 2 or 3 years , years ago I used to be a devoted Cosmetics To Go fan but despite moving to Poole some time ago I just dont get round to going to the shop there.... however I have kept reading this thread and just had to give in and go.... I am soooooo pleased I did !! The lovely young girl who served me was sooooooooo helpful , spent ages helping me choose products to try and demonstrated lots too , including a lovely arm and hand massage so I duly spent my '£20' (well £22.11. to be precise!) and from helping me in the store she knew I mainly showered so asked the other assistant to get a shower grab bag , she also gave me 3 samples - half a Soft solid shampoo bar, a small pot of 'Charity' and Ocean Salt face scrub . I was told that the grab bag was worth about £30 and I could see there was a Snow Fairy gift box on the top - Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! I love Snow Fairy (sooooooooo much) , did get some Xmas 08 but no one bought me any this past Christmas... Anyway , sorry for waffling, got home and couldnt wait to see what else I had ....
1. Snow Fairy box
2. Another gift box - tag missing but is has - Sugar Scrub , Strawberry Santa, Happy Hippy and Father Frost soap
3. 3 HUGE chunks of soap (I bought some Godmother which cost nearly £4 and these were all twice the size of that at least!
4. Let Them Eat Cake lip balm
5. Gingerbread man shaped thingy - ? massage bar ???
and
6. Double Fast luck - I beleive from reading here that thats an emotibomb
Not sure of the value but in all honesty I would have been pleased with the Snow Fairy box as a freebie so everything else is a BIG bonus , I will try and check back through this thread for prices but if any one wants to post them feel free ! Also a lbit of help , please with identifying the soaps would be GReat and much appreciated....
From the small piece in the gift box I believe the blue one is Father Frost, one piece is all creamy white - its not really very perfumed, smells a little sort of chalky (really dont know how to describe it... !) and a mainly pink one that looks like it was a 'cake', it has a little purple at the top and a peachy coloured bit round the edge , oh and some sparkly silver stars!
I am sorry to have gone on a bit but I am feeling very Lushful and happy at the moment.... Am trying to convince DH to part with £20 so I can go back but we cant really afford it at the moment.... or maybe if I tell help to put it away for my birthday in March ....0 -
Had an amazing stroke of luck today. I called in the Sheffield Fargate store just with the intention of buying Lemslip and Rock Star but their offer was spend £20 and get one of each gift box FREE. That was 4 boxes.
One had 3 things in at £8.95, 2 had 4 things in at £9.95 and one had 5 things in at £12.95, pink paper with snowflakes, white paper with a red bow, pale blue paper with Christmassy stuff on and can't recall the third.
Total bargain! Could have had a bag which apparently had £30 of stuff instead.
And, further adding to their amazing customer service in the past, they also gave me a double sized sample of Big shampoo (cos I have veerry long hair) and a free Butterball for my little girl who was in awe
Totally impressed again!
Wow sounds like you got some fantastic goodies too !0 -

the white one sounds like it's snowcake, which is one of my favourites!Comping since August 2022
- bottle of 7up, brewdog glass0 -
aplaceinthesun - your other gift box is Season's Greetings, (I managed to bag 2 of these in different bags - love Happy Hippy and scrub and kids love Strawberry Santa!) which sold for £14.50, and you got a Sexy Boy massage bar which was £4.95 - sounds like you had a good bag!
I think your soaps will be Snowcake for the white one and Angels Delight for the pink one, your blue one will be Father Frost
Your soaps are from £2.25 to £3.50 per 100g, the 100g is the size you get in the gift boxes - so quite a lot there too!
Snow Fairy box is £9.95
Let them eat cake is £4.63
Double fast luck is £2.500 -
Thanks so much for your replies !
Pippaaaaaaaa - have just tried the soap and my hands fell so lovely and soft so although its not 'very smelly' its really lovely to use.
Flumpster - thanks ever so much for the name of the box and the price, have used Happy Hippy before and love it but not any of the other products - Oh and thanks too for identifying the massage bar , he does smell really lovely! wow I did get a really good bag didnt I !!!!!!!!!0 -

Just seen your edit Flumpster, thanks for your extra info about the soap and the prices, thats so kind and helpful of you.
