Bloody Morrisons

Bought a 24 x 440ml pack of Stella from our Morrisons last night, started to unpack it into the fridge and the first can I got hold of had no bloody Stella in it ie an empty can with the ringpull firmly in place - NIGHTMARE

Going to call back into store after work today but wondered if anyone had taken stuff back and what they got in compensation for their time and effort ??

I'm sure it will get replaced - no problem. What else do you want? - there is no provision for "compensation" unless both parties have signed a contract detailing the level of compensation and the trigger factors under which it becomes payable. In this case - tough, you don't deserve any and I damn well hope you don't get any, perhaps you need a life or a sense of perspective?

Try writing to the brewers/packers of Stella!!

Could have been worse - could have been Special Brew.......;)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    Sound replies so far.

Why is this Morrisons fault, do you honestly think they weigh every package to ensure it's present and correct?

If a Morrisons representative saw your slanderous remarks towards their company, it will be them coming after YOU for compensation.

However you are right, I'd sue them for millions.
  • I'll end the thread cos I wasnt looking for smart-!!!! comments etc - I've read somewhere on this site of people taking items back to a customer service rep within supermarkets and receiving a couple of quid vouchers to spend in store -that's all folks.Seasons greetings

Be mindful to weigh any crisps or nuts you might enjoy with your chosen beverage, they may be a gram under weight.
If so go back and give them hell until you get your couple of quids of vouchers.
  • Are you serious??

Why not save yourself a trip by chucking the can in the bin........then thank your lucky stars that your life is so perfect that an empty can of beer is a 'nighmare' !!
