My area has an equal mix of chavs and snobs, and I fit right in the middle, so god knows where mine will fit in! 3 - oh dear me. I see I've hit upon your ironing obsession DH thinks I'm funny for ironing pj's and bedlinnen, but other than that I just do, shirts, dresses, anything 'cotton' but not 'jersey' and certanly no under-garments!
(my cleaning obsession is the kitchen worktops - not that you'd know that right this second!)
SOunds liek you are doing well though - well done x
Right bathtime for little munchkins.r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Feel like giving him a flippen headbutt!!!
Can we come and have a MSE meet near you, and go and give him multiple headbutts?3 - oh dear me. I forgot - i've also got no shirts to do anymore which is helping. I did have 5 or 6 a week, but OH's new uniform shirts are that strange football shirt material that doesn't need ironing. :j:beer:0 -

I think I need to develop a cleaning obsessionI used to pride myself on being a Monica but since Seth was born I CBA!! I only really hoover every couple of days, and rinse the bath and sink out every day cos the cats like to get in them and drink the water straight from the tap, I'd be so ashamed if someone came round before I'd had a chance to gut the place!!

Hi all
Hope you are all well, but ((hugs)) where neededThe special needs school school looks fab!Very, very impressed and DH is happy too. Lovely staff, nice mix of children, lots of interaction with the main stream schools, both the one it's attatched too and he can also go to visit our local one too. So we are going for it. It's a class of P1-4, so lots of different levels but there is 1 adult to 5 children, lots of support.

Can you tell I'm excited for youI can do a guide for surviving the posh nursery when you aint posh.
1, do not expect anyone to have any manors, holding open a door is not theri job and if you do it, you must be staff.
2, children must be quiet and perfectly dressed at all times, any sign of individuality is frowned upon.
3, hat, scarf, gloves, shoes and coat must always match and be of a dark colour. Girls may have a spritzy bit of glitter but no bright colours.
4, children are expected to play only when appropriate and only if it is educational to do so. Colouring is a good activity, but only in pencil. Crayons, felt tips and pens are frowned upon for the messy potential.
5, children must attend singing, swimming, gymnastics, modern dance (slutty as possible for girls) and a music class each week. Mothers must always join in and demonstrate how they sang a certain note and impressed the tutor when in the waiting area, waiting, of course, till the waiting area is full.
6, if a child is seen displaying inappropriate behaviour (playing outside of structured play activities) the parents must be notified immediately by text, email, phone call and sky writer as well as as many people reminding them as possible.
7, one must never acknowledge ones husband standing with his hands down another childs Mother at any time.
8, of course we are privileged enough to use the car park thats clearly states 'no parking except staff and visitors'. Blindness to yellow lines of any sort or shape should also be cultivated.
9, a strict dress code applies to all Mothers at all times. High heels, white carpri slacks, tight twin set, brown artificial tan, dyed hair, a jaunty hat, belt or bag and full make up. Any non adherence to this dress code will result in immediate shunning.
You forgot the necessity to drive a 7 seater people carrier when you have 2 children !!Jealous? I'm annoyed!Nothing good about being this thin. Even Rhys' doc told me off yesterday  I was trying to "excuse" his weight gain patterns by comparing him to me and she said "Yes dear, but you need a few more decent meals - Rhys looks fine"
You need to eat what you are making Rhys !! And steal more of his crumpets:rotfl:
BM, you really cheered me up BTW !!

Its my super-duper steam generator iron. It's changed my life!
:D
(Krystal have you done your ironing yet?)
(Don't tell anyone, but i've also stopped ironing socks and teatowels and stopped putting J & L in clean, ironed pj's every night!. I'll try to stop ironing knickers and vests next - i've got to do this in little baby steps!)
Would do more tonight but too tired to function...
My sister is still pregnant and hooked up to a drip, they've put it down to low blood pressure and will release her when it has stayed up for long enough which will hopefully be some time tonight...
