Elle, you can tell instantly if it's chest gunk, but it is better he brings it up, he will get over it sooner. Can be scary when he brings it up, choking and gagging and sounds very loud (sorry if TMI). Just help him as much as you can. But it sounds like it if he is sick then fine.
ETA, sorry, you have seen someone already. Hope he gets better soon.0 -
Been discharged from MW into HV's care as of today... so different to first time round.... Lazy day again here although off to my mums in a little while for dinner (only cos she offered to cook).
OH has done his neck again so having to do loads as walking around hunched over at the moment....Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Lots of babies are getting ill
I blame Jack Frost!
Gosh I'm tired today, had ellie staying over last night and its a nightmare with her and Keira in the bed, Keira moans in her sleep and ellie flails and punches you. OH bagsy'ed Keira's bed so he didn't have to deal with it lol.
My mum is doing my head in, I asked if she could watch Keira New years eve, as I've never been out for it, ever, and she is now saying she is going out, but my dad is working until 4am on that night so who's watching Ellie? I'm her only babysitter, she's such a mega ho sometimes. Big child!
and If I don't get out I won't be watching Ellie for her to go out. She goes out EVERY WEEKEND, she was out Xmas Eve and Boxing day and no doubt again tonight. I don't know how my dad puts up with it tbh, she thinks she is hot and cool (seriously) I feel sorry for Ellie, never gets time spent with her. I took her to the movies with us and it was the first time she had been = she is 6. But saying that my mum never took me to the cinema as a kid either because.....she doesn't like it. She has to like it before she'll do it.....

You needn't have worried about thatTigsteroonie wrote: »Morning All :hello: I might manage to be online for a wee while today! Grandparents were meant to be visiting but have succumbed to both over-indulgence and weather/travel-fears, so that's delayed. Andrew's too young to even have got excited at the prospect of their visit, so I don't think he's upset by this change of plan!
I'm going to presume that you all had acceptable Christmases, as there are far too many pages to read back. I did see that MOTM has exchanged promise rings with his fair maiden (awwwwww), Marley and I did a similar thing back at the start of the year when we found out I was expecting.
Is there any other exciting news?
Is the Grandparents not coming a result? Or disappointment? Sadly, not long from now, what remaining relatives that are talking to us, will arrive. Hopefully they won't stay long and will be gone by mid afternoonHave told Lucy to tell me if they say anything and i'll sort it out, but don't think over egotised brother will have the balls too.
So, your promise rings - has it moved one step further with regards to engagement or anything? It was definitely slightly different as the promise ring for us was before any hanky panky that led to pregnancy.
Other exciting news includes 'searching me' sitting down on boxing day and sorting out her Christmas 2010 and Birthdays 2010 plans, but it was acceptable as she was eating gateauxand some folk are buying in the online sales
Right, may I wish Happy New Year to all you folk. I'm attempting to stay away until the New Year. I think after last night I may be a bit more busy. New relationship things and all that.
Enjoy the rest of your week and see you in 2010, if I don't come back earlier :hello:0 -

OH has been in charge of the "investigating" and he tells me it's chest gunk _pale_  The water reappeared about five minutes after the nurses walked out the door but he's kept a small amount of milk down so far, going to give him a bit more soon and see how he goes. Nurses didn't seem too worried about him really, it was just "there's a lot of it going round and [like you say] as long as he's bringing it up, he's fine"
ETA, Happy New Year MOTM!I'm looking forward to the next instalment of your signature.. I'm going for "Due to be married - 14th Feb 2010"

ETA, Happy New Year MOTM!
I'm looking forward to the next instalment of your signature.. I'm going for "Due to be married - 14th Feb 2010"
Steady! I didn't marry either of the girls Mothers and I don't want to marry just yet! I think Lucy is pretty happy to be committed with no plans just yet of marriage or children!
Happy New Year Elle :T
EDIT - The next signature installment will actually be when Lucy officially moves in on Sunday 3rd January
Lots of things to sort out then, like tax credits etc as will lose most/all and then things like sorting out her refunds on TV Licence etc (although she doesn't watch TV more than once or twice a week, she still has a TV) Think she may watch alot more now with the kids
Not worried about losing the extra money as Lucy's wage covers that and even though I feel guilty about accepting money, I suppose we are now a partnership. I'm just used to being the only provider and feel maybe some of my independence and reliance will be less needed.
Anyway, worry about that in the new year, enjoy yours with your family0 -
Gah, suspected bronchi-do-da! (same as Dylan and Seth)
Mild for now, keep an eye on it, he seems to be managing it well because he's "processing the secretions" himself. The ward is full of babies with it
Aww elle, the poor wee mite
Its horrible, but really doesnt last that long if he is able to clear his chest himself, Dylan couldnt which is why he was admitted to hospital so they could almost force him to get rid of it.
((hugs)) to you all xxThe two best things I have done with my life
