I'm seriously considering hiring a cleaner, but my flat is quite small and cluttered, does that matter? Do they do the dishes, that's the most important thing!!

eat off plastic plates and then teach bop to do it-for stickers?! xxx

Toby's Cousin had a card shown, but his parents missed recording it. I looked on On Demand and Iplayer but no luck.

She would do it for free Weezl, except last time she knocked a glass off and smashed it :rotfl: I loved that glass, I pinched it from the pub :D

Maybe I should just give my mum a few pounds to do it....

I really just loathe housework! I'd rather eat OH's socks than wash a plate, and they stink!

In other news, OH's mum is coming down with money for OH to do his twice a week lessons :rotfl: She paid for his sisters lessons so is paying for his and she said he should be doing it every night so he gets it done quicker....

What a fortune though! They must make a packet, £30 an hour, - £5 in petrol, - £5 wear and tear on the car. So about £20 an hour!

I'm going to apply for a job in a pub when I get home, it's a Fri and Sat night, 6pm - midnight. I could do that! well I've never worked in a bar but the timings are perfecto! I don't even need to work, I just want too!

Right, the pressing work task is completed (with Molly sitting on my knee "helping" because Husband boogered off for a nap and left me to it) and now I am off for a bath, I think, or perhaps a toasted sandwich and then a bath.

I do really want a toasted sandwich. And a cup of tea.

ooo bath sounds so lovely. Hopefully I can get DH to 'babysit' tonight so I can have one! :T

  • Afternoon all.

Have been catching up while Izzy was BF - she napped for a grand total of about 20 mins on the way home. Tried to get her back off when we got in, but she wasn't having any of it, so I epect she will end up wanting to nap at about half five and mucking up bedtime. But never mind, it's Friday.

We had a nice time out and about. Met up at a friends with some other mums and babies, then went round the corner to a playgroup to give them lunch there rather than making a mess in my friends house :rotfl:. Then they all had fun playing before naptime. Izzy has COVERED herself in purple felt tip pen, so I will have to take a picture before bathtime!

Now she has FINALLY climbed off my lap and is playing with her new bead maze, so I must go get me some lunch, but quickly before I go:

Well done MFD and Elle :j:j:j.
So what I did this week was find out ex's phone number and rang her pretending to be from a government agency to see if her son was still in full time education. She answered all my 'security questions' and then eventually admitted he didnt go to college and what would happen to her for claiming:eek: I told her to ring the csa and CB to say she wasnt entitled and they would make her pay back the money. I cannot believe if the fraud dept had made this phone call back in Oct we would have had it all sorted by now! Have informed CSA of this and they were ringing her this week so just waiting for an update. Oh is so annoyed that hes paying her £200 a month for nothing

:rotfl:That is the funniest thing I've read in ages. Let us know if anything comes of it!

Aww, SIL has had a boy :) no name or weight passed on yet.
The poor thing had the whole birthing pool, natural activity all sorted except that after 8 hours there was still no progress so they epidural/oxytocin'ed her, and after another 8 hours got a result... She has to stay in for 48 hours but I hope that's just precaution not because of anything serious!

Woohoo, congratulations uncle B :) It's not good when things don't go to plan, but baby is here safe, which is the main thing.

And I loved all the pictures. Sami what was Christoper so cross about in that photo? He looks like he had a right hump on.

Although presumably if your husband adopts her then he won't have to pay child support any more which might make him more agreeable to it?
Well you'd think... But I don't know if he'll get a sudden macho need to reclaim what he thinks is his... IYKWIM...

In the interests of being public spirited, you should all know that the toasted sandwich was dreadful and none of you should have one.

    Bathtime.
Or not, since Husband has picked now to go out and pick up stuff from the supermarket. Hmph. Maybe I'll remove another toasted sandwich from the universe... if I do then we'll be out of processed cheese and sliced ham, thereby removing temptation... genius of me.

Feely, was it on BBC2 or Cbeebies channel? If it was on the Cbeebies channel then the birthdays get repeated all day :)
