Tara your poor friend
At least she has you to look out for her
I want to be an aunty again, but no chance of that for the time being. Nephew I have has quite bad CP, and I don't think they could manage a baby too (not sure if they would want another one either... not something we've ever discussed, just get that feeling iyswim). SIL has had endometriosis, and has given ttc up as a bad job. And my brother has had 1 girlfriend ever (as far as I'm aware - there may have been others he hasn't owned up to :rotfl:). It is still all down to us I think!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Mel - when you say maxi cosi I thake it you mean the cabriofix carseat? I got it off amazon for about £60 after mfd spotted a good deal
I'd sell you mine as timing is right but I'm hoping I'll need it 1 more time
Yep, cabriofix one...only thing is I am making things more difficult for myself as I need the one that is called chilli (i think it is) as it matches the red and orange on the pushchair!!!! See we should stick to the black....
Does anyone else think the red iCandy is a girly colour??Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Oh Tara your poor friend! What an absolute !!!!!!! Does she know who the girl is?
How funny Maddy being an auntie. My little sister was 8 when I made her an auntie and I thought that was funny!
Mel red's not girly as long as its a proper red and not a pinky red iykwim? When I was reading reviews about my Zia, a lot of the complaints were that the red was too pink.
ETA: Tara so would I have!:beer:0 -
500g mince does 4 meals here, usually 2 spag bols and then I put chilli powder in it and serve it as chilli the next day! OH moans if I try and bulk it out at all, cos he is a meat addict  He squinnies if I put two tins of tomatoes in it!! He also moans if there is too much veg, so I am allowed to put in one medium onion and nothing else except as many mushrooms as I like
weirdo!
We got first blood today
Seth was crawling along and smacked his head on the floor, and his bottom teeth bit through his top lip, it was horrible and bloody and now its swollen but he's ok. I cried for longer than he didMummy to

Yup - the only time mummummumm comes out is when he is crying/moaning/being a general PITA!!
I didn't count daddy, mummy, babba (or variations thereof) as words
CM said he said 'No, no, no' to her today too!!
We taught him to nod and shake his head ages ago, now he is just putting the words to them!!
We have had much more running up and down the stairs, I have spilled a whole bottle of Anbesol  (luckily on the changing mat on the changing table). I think he might have some tummy trouble, there has been much burping and trumping. Another teething powder seems to have done the trick for now.
Tara, hope your friend is okay. xxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Is it the same friend with the prat OH from the other night?
(i'm really hoping that was Tara's friend the other night, and not Tia's. I have this strange mental condition that always confuses Tara and Tia. Does anyone else suffer?)
My sympathy to you Sami. I'll never be an Auntie. My children have put my sister off for life.Yes, same friend, he has been hiding his phone and got a text from a girl last night. Her name flashed up when it went off but her being so decent didn't read it!
Sami, Maddy will beat you to being an Auntie!
MM, where'd you go?
Edit: I of course would have read it then shoved it up his !!!!!
Maddy has a damn cheek being an aunty before she can even walk/talk/use a toilettell her I'm not talking to her anymore

"No" is a very excellent first word. Elijah is much older and has about 20 intelligible words now but he still usually says "None" when he means "No".
Mincegate lol... I used to split 1 pack 3 ways when it was just me and Aimee, and then when I cooked the 3rd of a pack I used to make enough for 2 meals... Now Hubby's here I tend to cook the whole pack and then freeze at least an extra meal for us all... I do the same when I make a scouse too though... Fry up the lamb and onions, then split it in half, freeze half and bulk out the other with veg... 1 chicken does us 2 meals (and pickings for hubby )
Poor Seth Em, did he calm down quickly though? Aimee has a scar on her lip where she fell right on her face and bit through it when she was about 2... The very same afternoon she was messing around with her cowboy boots on lay on her back, flicked her foot up and the boot flew straight up and then managed to come down toe first right under her eye... She looked like she'd done a couple of rounds with Frank Bruno by the time she went to bed!!!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
