    Lol at "MinceGate" :rotfl:

I'm rubbish at stretching meat out, i lurked on OS for a bit and was always baffled by the people who can make a whole chicken feed a family for a week or something equally extraordinary.
If i roast a chicken it'd do for a sunday dinner + sandwiches the next day (when ex was here). Think i wasted the remains the last few times i cooked one just for me and DS. (for 'waste' read 'in the cat and dog')

Evening, sorry but can't catch up. Sitting waiting for my friend, is facing her OH about some rather dodgy texts he's getting and he keeps disappearing in the car!
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Eloise says yeah-yeah, mummy and daddy but she always says daddy in a really excited voice and only says mummy when she's whingy and she's been able to say Daddy for ages now, mummy only recently. Millie said Daddy first too.

Re mincegate, I buy a 1lb of mince to feed 3 of us with maybe one portion left over if its something like cottage pie, if its chili I can usually get 6 portions out of it. If I put lentils in it OH would not be amused.

What do you call that website where you can look at how well a school has done in it's inspection? Having a real 'mummy moment' and can't remember.

Also, DH called the educational psychologist and Chris can't be registered for a school until she does a report, which should have been done before Christmas. So she is out at 1.30pm tomorrow and after that I then have to go and find a school for him. I am so !!!!ed the !!!! off (can I also add !!!! !!!! !!!!!!! and !!!! just to up the swearing cos it makes me feel better) of him constantly being 'forgotten about'. Should have heard DH on the phone, then he said he was going to try and get the day off work tomorrow so I reminded him that murdering Christopher EP was not going to help him in the long run. Oh and it all depends on her report whether he can get a place in the ALN school or even gets help at school :mad::mad::mad: and :eek::eek::eek:

Good news is that he now has a communications book at nursery, bad news is that nursery staff and Christopher are learning new signs like wildfire but I'm not so need to see his SALT tomorrow when he visits nursery. Chris may also be getting one of those Hawking style talky doodads (Makaton speech system or something), he presses a button and it 'speaks' for him.

    I'm a wee bit stressed....

Thanks GISI. It was lovely - but long and boring. As well as swearing in the new recruits, there was a ton of commendations/retirements/long service awards to give out. He looked very lovely in uniform - can't wait til he gets home Friday. ;)
Official photo was good, and I got a couple of good photos where I don't look like a nutter - but I don't really want to post them on F/b.
    .

You've had a very busy day - you make me tired!

Hi everyone else  i'm here and keeping up while ironing.

I really wanted V to learn something new this week to suprise OH when he gets back tomorrow. :o
