Just remembered. Its a good job no hv's were visiting me this morning. I went for a wee and came back to find V had taken the dogs dog chew off him and was eating it herself. Bad mummy!

I was going to follow a recipe I found online but I realised I was out of coriander - doh.

What I did was add, 3 onions, 1 pack of mince, 3 large potatoes all diced up, few tomatoes, can of chopped tomatoes, cup of water, half a jar of madras pataks paste (8 servings my bum!) Then I added some extra garam masala and ginger, dunno why, because I felt like a chef, bit of this, bit of that, splodge splodge.

Game just called with the courier info for the PS3, so I called them now and they are picking it up tomorrow between 10 - 3, great, I have Keira's nursery in between then! Also didn't say much about how I package it, I presume shot the PS3 in it's box, and stick our addy on the front with some spellotape?

    officially scared now ...

just got off the phone with the HV about rearranging to see her re LO's sleeping (and also food). i tried to get her to meet me in town so i could fully take in what she was saying without having to watch LO and stop her climbing everything.

anyway, she wants to come to the house so that she can 'observe' LO as it may be relevant to how to put the sleep plan into action.

now dont get me wrong, i need help with this as LO walks all over me when it comes to sleep, but i am just worried i am going to feel even more of a failure as a mum after wednesday than i do already.

    Don't be silly!!
You will need to try hard to be natural with LO though, no pressure or anything!!

Can you imagine what you would say to me if I said I felt like a failure - now give yourself a virtual slap from me and think about all the positive things that your beautiful daughter does and is - you did that :D

i just feel that i haven't taught her to sleep and she's nearly 10 months and i know how much better she is after sleep.

i do think she hates me at times. she was horrible with me yesterday and i think it's cause i didn't give in for 2 hours before i let her come into bed

Ooo her curls must have really been out last night!!

Do try and get away for a night for your anniversary. You know MIL would love to have LO for the night and it will do you and hubby the world of good to get away. xx

  • Tara- Poole is fine for me too. It's about an hour away, I think. Did I already say that? I can't remember.

Productive morning here- breadmaker is on for lunch and I have finished the tax credits form. Just need OH to sign it and we can post it off. Not sure we'll get anything, but might as well try.

  • AF, dont feel like you are a bad mum for not getting her to sleep. I know I have been a great mum to Jasmine, she is well rounded independant and smart, but she doesnt sleep !! Doesnt mean I have necessarily done anything wrong over the last 7 years.
I would love to say however it gets better, but I dont know !! If you find a miricle, let me know ;)

Poole is 2 trains away from me, would take about 2 hours. Probably manageable. Why Poole though?
