I recommend baby led weaning. Weaning was pretty much a non event in our household because that's what we did. What I did was cook and freeze a load of sticks of veg (e.g. carrot, swede, parsnip) and then if we were having something which was unsuitable or didn't contain big lumps we could give to Alice, we would just microwave a stick or two of veg. I also used to sometimes give her a stick of bread soaked in what we were having (e.g. if it was spaghetti bolognaise) but I make sourdough bread which is more dense and therefore doesn't go all soggy and fall apart. We kept a food diary for the first few months so if you wanted I could give you a more detailed list of what sort of things we did.

hi Susan, could i be cheekt and get in on this!? Christopher isnt taking very well to spoon feeds, but he has also stopped drinkgin as much Milk as he used to; from 5 9oz btls a day to about 3! He just doesnt seem interested in it anynmore.Carla-Farla!!
