Tigs, you know whats right for your little man
Am I right in thinking Rhys put on loads in his first week of weaning?
Why have I got such a grump of a baby at the moment? He doesnt seem especially dribbly and his bum isnt especially red, and he doesnt seem ill, but this is the 3rd day of grumping and he is normally so happy! I think maybe he is borednot a lot I can do about that, I am too!!

I'm going to have to go to asda today, nearly out of baby milk! not used the car all week so going to have to dig my way out! Jakes school have text again this morning saying they'r closed tomorrow as well!
I havent heard from the garage yet where Im getting the new car from, just tried calling but no answer, maybe the owner couldnt get in? I just hope it doesnt snow again before I pick it up, plus my insurance on my car expires on sunday i could really do with getting it sorted before then!!!
Hope everyone is ok?0 -

Gisi thats useless, they could have rang earlier to let you know.
MM I dread thinking about returning to work. I need to work out what I want to do.
Tigs you and Marley know whats right for your boy. My friends little boy was like Taras nephews, born at 29 weeks but weaned at 'normal' age and has thrived since.
Just realised he'll be one next week! Best look for a pressie.
Isla's fast asleep. On me though so I have no chance of moving :rolleyes:Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Would of just preferred a new console TBH, as OH is now talking about trading his one in and getting a newer version as he's worried it will break again.....YOU JUST CANT PLEASE HIM!
Aren't the newer ones not backwards compatable though? Or doesn't he care about that bit?
Re weaning, I don't know about premmies, but I do know that all us mummies know our babies best, and so should listen to our own instincts as well as the professionals.
I have a terrible job today - getting car insurance quotes, as mine has jumped right up. I'm going to do a load on line via quid co and see what I can come up with, as sitting on hold on the phone isn't an option with a baby who wants to pinch the phone from me and talk to whoever I'm talking to :rotfl:. It's going to take me ages though!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

School opened today, main roads are ok but we walked round the lane and up the little hill to school
got to where the white gate is and a car was sliding backwards towards us, why do people not use their legs!!!
I was staring at this pic thinking "...but there's no snow..."
Not sure how to respond to this email from OH. Clearly less over-the-hump from earlier this week than I thought she was.
wonderful, going to have to get him up as he's 100% awake and burbling to himself.
frankly I don't want to have to try again to settle him when he's hitting and pulling my hair and kicking me in the throat so this might be my last attempt at a nap, he can sleep where he falls down if necessary.
and I don't want to hear any bs about "TOO EAAARRLLY" bedtimes either especially if no nap occurs because I want to be BLOODY WELL QUIT OF HIM in the evenings instead of spending half of it listening to him moan.
