General take, anyone (especially SAHMs!) - how often do your OHs "abandon you for the day" on their days off, and go do their own thing? Is it a problem for you?

Quite often... If he has given me warning it doesn't bother me, if he announces it the night before it does. But he also abandons me for weekends to go on stupid camps, which doesn't bother me that much unless he has planned them for 3 of his long weekends in a row (last year we had a barney about that) or he comes home dumps his bag for me to unpack and then moands how tired he is.

I think it's easier for me because I can just get on with things as normal (he doesn't work predictable shifts), I'm not reliant on him to drive or anything. Plus I've been worn down by years of neglect (anyone feeling sorry for me here?).
  • thanks you two :)
Yeah hot water bottle and painkillers but nothing working and I am just lying on the sofa feeling like crap !

Although can I say the baby photos tonight are cheering me up a lot tonight, they are all beautiful !!
