Last night was the first night Amber has went to bed, stayed in bed asleep and not woke up demanding mummy, in 3 weeks! :j:j:j

She's now on 2 solids feeds per day and has decided that baby porridge is actually yum so long as mummy makes it more like concrete and less like a 'smooth consistency' strange child. She also likes lumps but will take the fruit purree pots. And luckily I remembered that fresh banana makes for interesting nappies :D

Been offered £40 for my broken DS, which works out cheaper than getting it repaired (argos has them for £80). Countered it of course, every penny helps :D

MOTM - Good luck with Lucy moving in today (officially) and yes, be careful carrying her through the door, watch she doesn't bump her head:p
ood luck with the moving MOTM :)

One last cuppa as living on my own with 7 girls and having a sleepover girlfriend before we go and get the rest of her things.

It's only a few bags as all her furniture is already here. We look a bit more cramped now, so really will have to sort out the spare bedroom and maybe get rid of a few of the older things :o

Have a great Sunday everyone and i'll be back tonight after the final moving and the low key party for us 9, just to edit my signature.

PS - lots of cute babies and cute mummies being posted at the moment. I'll post Lucy and our baby when we have one - NOT YET, so you'll have to wait maybe a few years :rotfl:

To those who bought the bodyshop sale items, did you get an e-mail confirmation?

My account on the website says ordered and paid, but thought we were meant to get an e-mail confirmation?

    I have received a Quidco e-mail telling me i'm getting £1.80, so it's tracked :)

Is it a proper one, undated on both sides? They are going for loads on ebay (even though the royal mint is giving you £50) a mate sold his for £70 before Christmas. I keep meaning to check my 20p!

    morning all...well not quite.

Retched morning - DH was going to pop down to the high road for some bits only to discover car battery has gone from fine to completely flat overnight  Now going to cost almost £200 to get it sorted in a month when we have no spare cash anyway. I feel like crying, we're always struggling to keep our heads above water and then things like this are always cropping up so we can never hope to get ahead. Sometimes I wonder how selfish it was to have a baby when we can barely afford to keep ourselves...

sorry just feeling really sorry for selves at mo...

aww mum and sis go home. miss them both so much. DH and sis did their usual falling out but now he has said he's not going to Ireland in March 'cos she'll be there'... so i said that he was ruining mine and Kian's holiday and he wouldnt get to go out with my brothers and their mates so he said he'd go but wants us to stay in a hotel!! with what money??? so will sulk for the next weeks till he gives in. i'm going with Kian whether he goes or not.

Kian has been sleeping through now for a week. going to sleep between 8.30 and 9.30 and not waking till 7am!! all i need to do is get used to it cos now i'm waking up to check on him.
