Morning all. I've been up since about 6:30 - sent DH back to bed as he spent the night sulking/playing ps3 instead of sleeping. (He stomped off to the pub last night in a stress because I wasn't doing what i was told like a good obedient little wifey :rotfl:.) I don't have the energy for it all at the moment, this sleep deprivation isn't doing with if us any good. Hopefuly he will be a bit more sane when he wakes up.
I'm just waiting for the shops to open. AF started last night, and I only have one ST left. Considering I've already had to clean blood off the sofa I'm not sure that will be enough.
My friens was round last night (hence why he stomped off in a huff instead of shouting/swearing/threatening me like normal) so we had fun knitting and gossiping without him anyway. She brought Izzy a £30 ELC voucher for Christmas/birthday, so I'm going to spend that when we get into town too. I have my eye on a pink pirate ship there, so maybe that will find its way home with us
ood luck with the moving MOTMIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Its his last week in old work this week, then he starts next Monday. He's away for the first week , he's never been away for more than a night. Then away for a couple of nights of the second week on a survival/bonding thing in the forest - which will be nice in January.
He's looking forward to the CS spray - he's weird like that!
I got some body shop bargains this morning too, and some bits from Boots including a half price Iggle Piggle in preparation for V's birthday in February.:beer:0 -
Carla- Lovely pictures! You look so young and fresh faced if that doesn't sound weird?!?
You know how you get a picture in your head when you talk to folk on her, thats not how I pictured you lol.
Tia- I forgot to say last night about your pic, DS2 looks like you! Does Amber favour her Daddy more? Her chubby cheeks aren't that big, you want to have seen my DD's ROFL0 -

Bit of a general question - those of you with toddler-age little ones, what do you do with them, especially when the weather's bad/freezing? OH is getting a bit depressed about spending enough time interacting with E when they can't at least go to a park, and if they both sit around at home all day he is very demanding about wanting her attention a huge amount of the time.
Some new structured play approaches might be good! He has lots of toys of course, and there is some playing by himself, and with one of us, every day...
don't know whats in your area, how about swimming or indoor soft play something like that?
Em- have ordered Bodyshop stuff too, thanks for that
SB- why did Casulty drive you to drink?0 -
Beenie - Amber is a real cutie:) And yes, the minute I gave birth to ds1 I was saying I wanted another:o I love kids though and even though I am pregnant I am thinking about how nice it would be to have another:rolleyes2*need crazy smilie*
Tara - I love Toyota and that car looks nice...looks like the kind of car we will be looking for at some point this year:D
Morning 3 Hope you are ok:D I dis cleaning games when mine where a bit younger, they realise that it isn't fun anymore, although now they do 'jobs' when I ask them.
MOTM - Good luck with Lucy moving in today (officially) and yes, be careful carrying her through the door, watch she doesn't bump her head:p
Well kids all slept in till 8am this morning, I have emptied the dishwasher, filled the washing machine and ordered shopping for tomorrow:T Need to do a little tidy round downstairs, but it is actually pretty tidy for a change:oUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Bruno - Missed your post, sorry:o I used to do the cleaning games but really found the best thing to entertain them when little was going to mums n tots groups, indoor soft play areas even some pubs have soft play areas, or just a little walk to the local shop and back.
When I had the two of them small I attended 3 mums n tots groups and a baby swimming group each week, in the summer I also went to the park a lot:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
