Morning - am I on my own?
V decided half 5 was a good time to get up on a Sunday. I tried to get her back off but she preferred to stand and shout.
Not a lot happening here - Christmas tree came down yesterday so I have my lovely tidy/bare room back.
Tara I like the Toyota. However, I know someone selling a very nice BMW M3 Convertible.Completely not practical and costs millions to run - but it looks pretty.
Off to catch up a bit.:beer:0 -
Morning 3, not quite on your own. Elijah's sleep muuuch improved recently, standard habit for maybe 10 days in the last 12 is, little wail and outburst sometime between 4 and 5.30 but settles himself, then wakes betwen 6.45 and 7. Manageable!
Bit of a general question - those of you with toddler-age little ones, what do you do with them, especially when the weather's bad/freezing? OH is getting a bit depressed about spending enough time interacting with E when they can't at least go to a park, and if they both sit around at home all day he is very demanding about wanting her attention a huge amount of the time.
Some new structured play approaches might be good! He has lots of toys of course, and there is some playing by himself, and with one of us, every day...0 -
V normally wakes at 6ish, but will go back off with a bottle. But today it didn't work. Poor love still has a nice runny nose and cough though.
Its a while ago my little ones were little - but I always found getting out of the house stopped them going wild, even if just a walk to the shop or round the block - no matter how cold it was.
Also I used to make helping Mummy a game. Joe used to love loading/unloading the washing machine, Liv loved helping clean with a damp cloth. (Was I wicked?).
But it meant I could still get stuff done - and they thought it was a game.
Other than that - they loved (still do) books and simple games like pairs. I'm not sure how old they were, but Liv was a genius at pairs. Used to whoop me all of the time - she has an amazing memory!:beer:0 -
Morning all
Had to have a large glass of wine after watching Casualty last night!
em, thanks for the BodyShop link. Just ordered lots of Easter presents.
MOTM, hope the move goes well today!
My children both decided to wake up at 8:10am :T.
ETA: sorry 3, I hadn't read your post!

I just ordered lots of birthday presents from Body Shop too! It must just be mummies ordering early morning! Thanks for the link
.
Henry was unusually unsettled last night. He was fine from 7 through till 4am, just woke for one feed at 10pm but from 4 he woke up every half hour or so and refused to go back in his moses basket. I gave in and got up properly with him at 7am. It was supposed to be my turn for a lie in today, but OH decided that as he had been up in the night with Henry (we take it in turns, so had both been up about 3 times by 7am) he shouldn't have to get up early too......
3- Is it OH's first day tomorrow? I'm sure he'll love his training, I know my OH did. Although I think he was less keen on the CS spray training where they get sprayed with it to test how they react....nice!
ETA: Carla, I've just seen your pics and you and your children are stunning! I can't believe how big Christopher is now, I remember you on the pg thread!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hi - not been posting much but been quietly lurking, just got nothing interesting to say. It's impossible to keep up everyday though!
Is it normal to feel broody even though your baby is only 12 days old?Lol! I really want to do it all again, except this time with a caring OH  Not sure it's broodyness, just missing being pregnant soo much, but prefer that she's here of course!
