Must say, I'm loving reading about forum babies starting to wean - I'm going to ask the paediatrician about this at the start of January, as Bliss guidelines are to wean preemies based on actual age rather than corrected, and Andrew will be almost 5 months by then. I have baby rice at the ready!
Its funny I was so excited and rushed into weaning Chris, this time I really cba with itweaned babies are messy and produce gross nappies/vomit/wind

Having a tough day today.
Positive news, GP says that from referral to operation would be less than 4 months, so I should ask for referral to hospital when I've stopped breastfeeding. She thinks I'm likely to be approved for Gastric Banding on the NHS
Still no news from CPN and HV hasn't been in touch and I don't really feel comfortable asking her to come and weigh LO. LO hasn't been weighed for 7 weeks, and according to my scales he hasn't gained anything. Thats about 1oz in 2 months. When do I worry
I know (((hugs))) Good news about the banding, a mate on my facebook looks completely different after he had it done (think it was private though).0 -

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Feelie, Tobes gained weight so quickly at first and home scales aren't that accurate I personally wouldn't worry unless he seems unwell. Good news for the prosective op! Any new photos to share? xxx0

Oh Tara, I'm sorry things are so tough for you at the moment. Hopefully Maddy sleeping means her body has more energy to fight off the bugs. Big hugs to your DD1, I can't imagine how scary that must be, but at least they know what needs to be done so all the right things will be in place when bubs is born.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Evening
I'm being a bad mummy and letting my son have a bourbon biscuitalthough he's not eating much as he's transfixed by ITNG!
All family have prezzies now, dropped the last ones off today at my grans. Her partner still isn't right, he bit her last night and then escaped from the house saying my gran was keeping him prisoner  according to the hospital he'll just get progressively worse as he gets older, hope everything is ok for them for Christmas.
On a brighter note I just want to let you all know that Weezl is a geniusI asked her to look at a photo of mine this morning and by this afternoon it came back exactly as I wanted it. Weezl has made my day.
Hope all sicky babies/mummies & Dadies get better soon xx
p.s Daniel has just decided that daddy's leg would be a good place to poo :rotfl: so glad it's not mummy for a change!Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -

She has been told the op will be in Bristol so I have said she should insist on the c/s there, so that she's close, not Exeter as suggested then baby transferred.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
oh Dora do look out for your Gran, OH's granddad hid so much from us for a long time before admitting how bad it was, Granny had been doing the same plus threatening him with a knife and all sorts0

She was crying on the phone so I said what a special 1 in 10,000 baby she was having and how lucky that they were so careful with the scan and picked it up. Then when I put the phone down I cried.Too many children, too little time!!!0
