Afternoon all. Our celebrations must have woken Holly up last night as she awoke at around 1.30am. DH brought her downstairs and we sang and danced to make her giggle then put her back to bed. DH meant to be on morning duty as he only had 1 glass of champagne, but she woke at 6.00am!!! He just wouldn't get up, so muggins here was down trying to feed her at an ungodly hour. She just wanted to chat and play with the bottle mostly though! This better not be a change of pattern for 2010 or there will be trouble ha ha.

Today we are going to MILs for steak pie dinner. Should have left already as OH is clearing out her garage, but we are both too tired. Will be making an excuse as to why we haven't left very early.

    Happy New Year Everyone!

We're all sick here :( not looking forward to flying with stuffy ears and a baby with stuffy ears :(:(

My brother (responsible for giving us all the plague) has boogered off to his room FINALLY - why he couldn't have done that as soon as he realised he was sick I really don't know - and we're all holed up in bed snoozing, except for me cause I can't sleep at all.

    Decade in review:

2000 - moved back to UK from Ireland, leaving then-BF behind
2001 - finished my degree, moved to the US with then-BF and then moved back
2002 - did my Masters, moved back to Ireland when then-BF moved back there
2003 - lots of temp jobs, started PhD
2004 - new flatmates moved in; conditions deteriorated, I moved out, split up with now-ex-BF
2005 - studying, working for a documentary company
2006 - much the same, only with several flings, back with now-ex-BF
2007 - finished my PhD, moved in with now-ex-BF, started working as a hospital administrator and was promoted to head of ultrasound, quit my job and was offered current job
2008 - moved to Germany, started current job, split once again with now-ex-BF, met now-Husband, got engaged and pregnant
2009 - PhD was finally awarded, got married, grandmother passed away, Molly was born, Husband almost died but didn't

2010 - plans are to save €750/month from my salary; to finish paying the remnants of my student loans; not to buy any clothes till my birthday then buy what's needed and then nothing more till the end of 2010 at least; to finish Christmas shopping by March; to complete 50 000 situps by the end of 2010; to lose the baby weight. Possible plan is to start work on baby #2.

    *ahem* Morning all.. :D

I woke up feeling very puffy in the face.. very weird! I usually avoid looking in the mirror as soon as I get up but I did today and I didn't like that I saw! New face care regime starts today! :o Anyway, also have a funny rash on my arms and legs.. doesn't look very nice but doesn't hurt/itch at all.. bizarre!

Heard from MFD earlier.. they're all poorly sick at Chez MFD :(

Today's masterplan is to sort out the bathroom and group together all the shower gels, shampoos, toothpastes etc that I have bought and scattered into the various drawers then I can see if there's anything we're short of (not too likely!) and get it bought in the next six weeks before the money runs out ().

SS, when do you leave for Germany? :)

Hope all the poorlies are improving.. and Sami's packing fairies arrive quick sharp! ;) xxx

Elle, could you be allergic to anything? My mother gets that when she's allergic to something. Enjoy your organising - I'm rather jealous that I've nothing like that to do today, all my stuff involves some physical effort and I'm tired and achey :(

We're leaving tomorrow. Very much looking forward to being at home.
