And I thought that I was knocking on a bit for a first timer :rotfl:

Thought I was the oldest first-timer round here? :rotfl: Don't think I'd have done it if I were older, and we both agreed we wouldn't pursue matters if it didn't happen naturally.

    s'okay :o

amusing quote of the day from my DH: 'I gave him (fergie) some sweetcorn for tea last night so we could chart his transit time.'

    gotta love him :)

9.5 weeks will fly, I'm sure. Sorry I wish my brain held onto details better, are you going on to another role, or are you plotting a life of SAHMness? x

Yeah, the bump does make some bits hard! Mostly I'm getting really creaky at lugging Fergus upstairs for naps. I've got a travel cot set up down here but he's really not keen. Must persevere! :)

Mainly to be SAHM, big step for me as I have a fairly decent job and wage a bit so am a bit scared at being financially reliant on another. May try to get some self employed contracty type stuff related to what I do now to keep my hand in, may do some voluntary stuff or may pop out a few more, or possibly a combination of all three!

Current dilemma is whether to keep childcare for one day a week in the hope that I get some work to keep ticking over, and to ease the transition, as she seems to love it so much and has only been for a few weeks. It is pricey, but may well motivate me to get some cash in to cover it. H sleeps in a travel cot in nursery, in a room full of activity no problems and I never thought she would so well worth persevering. They just put a blanket over the top of it!:rotfl:

Oh and I've been following your MFW thread, so will try and get me one of them too as it's something I'd (we'd) like to achieve soonish too.

Seconded ;) Currently trying to encourage said miracle that sitting up would be a much better idea than laying on the floor to play.. lazy tyke!

Tiga, Rhys didn't have a BCG but B did *confused* Maybe it's because Andrew and B had more lung issues and were on oxygen longer than Rhys :) (or are we just missing out?!)

Ooooh all interesting thoughts. Hope the consultancy is a big success. Agree that being a 'kept woman' has some strange feelings associated, but childcare is such a valuable job, I need to keep bearing that in mind, not like any SAHM is a lady who lunches!!

Look forward to your MFW diary :)

    And?

No poos today, despite 17.5 ml of lactulose :( dosage originally was 2.5 ml, and we've just had to keep cranking it up :o

Didn't get the impression it was linked to prematurity or anything, really did get the impression that it was standard around here? (must live in a deprived area or something!)
