They say raspberry leaf tea is supposed to help bring on contractions - not sure how true/effective it is as I never tried it. Ought to have done though as I went 13 days over!

Evening ladies hope you's are all well, congratulations to sitting up baby forgot the name sorry.

I'm a week of my due date and need help getting LO to exit, Could i ask for ideas please i have a pineapple that i'm making my way threw, EPO for at night and trying to avoid giving OH the pleasure of DTD unless i go over and get desperate:rotfl: have tried spicy foods and someone said star jumps but nope he's got comfy.

    Any ideas/ tricks

    I feel like a whale!!!

I tried everything that is recommended and went 15 days over, so I'm not sure it makes much difference! Walking up and down stairs is supposed to help the cervix dilate, but it did nothing for me!

Aless- hope you feel better soon. It is horrid when LO needs you but you just want to sleep. Do you have any expressed milk so OH could give Finn a feed while you sleep?

Welcome to newbies :hello:. Always nice to have new blood to [STRIKE]interrogate[/STRIKE] support!

I am trying to keep Henry awake at the moment as he wants to nap, but if he does he is bound not to sleep tonight. We have compromised and I have promised him an early night if he stays awake now...unfortunately he is only 9 weeks old so has no idea what I'm on about!

I'm making root veg and lentil stew with dumplings, nom, nom :)

We got a new sofa :j we got the 4 seater angeled pillow back and the big swivel chair in black http://www.dfs.co.uk/sofas/fabric/amalfi/

We've got a 4 seater sofa and it's brilliant having everyone squashed on it together
Don't get a budget mattress from Dreams. We got one for Charlotte and it was really really crap! She'd only had it a couple of weeks and she kept waking in the night crying. I got in bed with her and I could feel the springs poking in me. Turned the matress but the same thing happened on the other end.

The aftersales is really pants. Although there isn't anything on the website, a snotty cow told me the budget mattress is for occasional use only and told me off for using it every day. She wouldn't accept that I would expect a mattress to last longer than three weeks with a 2 stone toddler sleeping on it. Then she said it was my fault for buying a cheap mattress and said I was expecting too much for the price!

Ended up writing a letter stating I was rejecting the mattress as not fit for purpose under the Sales of Goods Act. Someone then rang me and I agreed to swap the budget for a more expensive mattress and I paid the difference but they delivered it for free. The new mattress is fine though - lovely and comfy!
Here I go again on my own....

Not even induction worked for me :o

I've been making a photobox photobook for three hours now, 2 for 1 is not enough compensation for my time and astonishing increasing levels of rage.

.if you saw me you would probably think I was 10yrs older than I am, I look like a haggered old fishwife!!!

Mel You're such a big liar! Don't forget i've seen you in real life and you don't even look old enough to be a Mum of 4!

Sali - V will be 1 in two weeks, and STILL only has one tooth! She's had it since October! :(

MM - glad you enjoyed your RL last night. :D

Love the sofa Sami. And the bed. Liv has a similar one, but it has spaces for plastic storage boxes and a pull out bed underneath.
Joe has the cheapo Argos one - I can second the advice to avoid it.

I've remembered the downside to the girls having sleepover parties - the grumpy, overtired, cheeky horror bag has just been sent up to bed. :(

    Hope everyone else is ok.

Well done Ry-ry and baby PP. :T
