I do it the way your friend does it - tea bag and sugar together then the water then the milkThe flip side of sanity is the game.0

I use a teapot and would never ever put sugar in a mug with a teabag in it. That's just gross.
Your way is also wrong because the milk lowers the temperature and the sugar won't dissolve properly.
Should be teabag, water, teabag out, sugar in then milk.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Me: Tea bag, sugar, hot water, let it mash, de-bag it then milk (non-tea drinker)
OH: Milk & sugar, put bag in cup and then hot water, let it mash, de-bag (tea-drinker)
Personally I think tea is 'orrible served any way! Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -

Yes tea bag, sugar; hot water leave for a bit, depends upon the teabags some you need to leave longer than others, give it a stir and debag then top up with milkLiverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I'm so weird about how people make a cup of tea, I can only have one if made by either me or my OH because i've trained him well!! :rotfl:
It has to be teabag - water - teabag out after a few minutes - tiny bit of milk - sugar well stirred.
The way I see it, and it might be stupid, but if you put the sugar in before taking the teabag out, then you're taking some of the sugar out with the teabag? I like a nice sugary brew! Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies
