I've just checked my postcode and it says that no periods of very cold weather have occured 'between 1 November 2009 and 16 December 2009 ', which is a bit strange since i personally find it freezing, i've had to have tghe heating on all night, and use an electric heater. I wouldn't as much if it was for me, but trying to keep a 6 month old baby warm isn't an easy task, sleeping bags only do so much.

Still waiting for updated version upto 25th as my area was cold but as norm, it's down to weather station which doesnt help as it's in Heathrow (obviously it wouldnt show cold there!!).

I don't know if it's me or not, but I think many people are missing out the payments if their weather station is near the airports?

That might actually be true yes. My weather station is near Edinburgh airport and I'm very definitely NOT lol! I'm up in the hills miles and miles away. But I suppose its hard to organise isnt it- and I'm very happy that once in my life I had it :) !
  • mine was triggered on the 18th and still nothing in the bank:(

If anybody gets a payment through, maybe if they could post on here and let us know...?
  • My local weather station is Crosby and so far it hasn't triggered a payment for my area (but it has for other local areas). I have checked the Met Office website for temperatures for the last couple of weeks, but it only seems to list the last 24 hours.
  • My payment triggered on the 18th, still hasnt been paid! GGGGRRR!
    Oh what's the bloody point...?
