  • Luke could include a couple of stamped addressed postcards with the presents, saying something like:

'Please select the most appropriate option from those listed below.

    Dear Uncle Luke

Thank you very much for the present.
    It is
    a) Brilliant
    b) Ok
    c) Rubbish - please don't send me any more presents.

    I have already
    a) Lost it
    b) Broken it
    c) Swopped it
    d) Taken it back to the shop
    e) Played with it many times.

    With love from.........................'

If that doesn't get the message through - then give up!

Yes, because it's not the childrens fault that their parent hasn't taught them that it's good manners to say thankyou.
    Spot on. ;)
  • Jacen ultimately goes on to become Darth Caedus and destroy half the galaxy. For this reason alone I don't think he deserves any pressies!

(Sorry - life long Star Wars geek here!)

Don't forget Han and Leia's youngest either. Doesn't Anakin get gifts?
    What about Chewie....

*sigh* Luke will have an expensive Christmas!

Totally agree with scotsbob - they're clearly unreformed chavs :D
  • Damn' right he should stop - greedy selfish little b****s. We have a nephew like that, and he now gets what he deserves - NOTHING. Mind you, his parents are greedy materialistic b****s too!!

i love this idea - it's fun but will make the kids think !!!
  • I'm with the chav names, chav attitudes post. Unfortunately parenting skills seem non existant in these people. The kids think the world owes them a living and have no respect for anything or anyone, they probably wouldn't event notice
  • I sent my young nephew a gift one year and received an email from my sister, thanking me for the gift, but saying that my nephew was too busy with his Playstation to thank me himself. Needless to say, I no longer send gifts ...!
