city link?

I too am waiting for a parcel to be delivered by City Link. The MD has recently stepped down:

Reports cite City Link's admission that it has gone too far in closing depots and cutting staff.


My package was sent using "Lite 3 Day" which was ordered on Sunday 5 December. The tracking report shows it as being on route to the delivery depot at 17:39 the following day. It arrived at the delivery depot at 7am on Saturday morning and was loaded onto the van for delivery at 7am yesterday morning, unloaded yesterday evening and again loaded onto a van this morning. That is, if the tracking record is to be believed!

The delivery date (according to City Link's site) has changed from Monday 6 to Monday 13 and now shows today.

What a shambles! The depot is around 25 miles away and had it been closer I'd have gone and picked it up myself.

I'm waiting for a parcel from City Link too. The estimated delivery date was yesterday. Tracking suggests it was delivered in October :huh: (waiting to hear back from Amazon about this).

Hope it gets here before Christmas :rudolf:

1 from Firebox
2 from Amazon
1 from Ebuyer

All due today, of course they didn't arrive. Hopefully they'll come tomorrow. City Links always a day or two late with my parcels.

Delivered in October, wow I didn't know their vans could time travel!

Seems other people have had the same thing happen to them too.
