Im awaiting a City Link arrival from Amazon too. Only mine says (on CL's site) that delivery is expected 'yesterday'. Brilliant.

Ive had a lot of trouble with CL via Vodafone in the past so im hoovering around the door like a dog atm.
Were you at home yesterday? They may well have delivered it and left it at a neighbour's house. That's what they often do with my deliveries. Of course they don't put a card through my door so I only find out through the tracking.

Yeah I was at home. Tracking on CL's site still only says

20/12/09 20:19 These goods have been scanned at the collection Depot and are now on route to the delivery Depot.

I would have assumed by now they would have at least been delivered to the Ipswich depot. (I live in Ipswich). Still cant phone them.
  • Mine has an hour and 15 minutes to turn up with the kids wii :(

My goods were on route to the delivery depot on Saturday but only arrived at the delivery depot today. I guess on route means put onto a van which will leave sometime next week. The package did arrive today and has now been delivered, unlike the first version which was delivered to some unknown and random person.

grahawk, did the tracking number give you up to date info on their site or was it simply delivered without warning so to speak?

The tracking did update when it arrived at the delivery depot (4am this morning - not that I was watching at that time) and when put onto a van.
  • My parcel didnt turn up, it still says delivery date 22/12/2009 planned delivery time between 07.30 and 17.30 :(

Im also awaiting a delivery via sh*tty-link from amazon.
it says its in Okehampton but my nearest delivery depot is Plymouth, I waited in all day for it but it hasnt came, hope it turns up tomorrow or i wont be happy.

On a happier note Parcelforce delivering a parcel from chemistdirect has delivered it on time, infact I recieved a knock on the door at 8.30am, less than 12 hours after it was sent, shame I cant say im happy about the goods inside the parcel, they look like they are returned stock, ripped boxes an all sorts, no good for xmas presents.
  • I managed to get hold of a very helpful man at the depot it has been sent out for delivery from, he is calling his driver to see where it is :j thank you mr helpful man at edmonton branch of shittylink

  • Why guarantee delivery before 1pm if the can't acheive it?

    Why give me unrealistic expectations?

Where the hell is my new TV?

Amazon service is fantastic, however the whole experience relies on the delivery network, holding up their end.

Item should have arrived before 1pm on the 22nd December 2009, It never arrived. I've been calling their number 08444930930 as described on their website. No ringtone. Have these b*stards gone bankrupt? probably the best thing for them.... after they deliver my new Telly.

Looks like no HD for Christmas day. :-(
