I wasn't thinking about upping the dose on my own.(well I did briefly for a minute) but was wondering whether just having a break over christmas might just be what I need. So i thought i might leave it till New Year and see what happens....

I have some sleeping tablets so may take a couple of those if the problem continues.....trouble is, and I know you are the same, when you wake up so early every morning, it gives you so much time to think about things...

I think I am worried about my mum and her op on new years eve.....its only gall stones !!!!!!...but I still worry, and its not like me to worry....am becoming a worrier...

When you say about a break over Xmas do you mean take nothing? Based onmy experience in the last couple of weeks I would say don't do it! There must be another doctor you can talk to who will be able to help you decide whether upping the dose is for you or if its worth giving the AntiDs a bit more time to take effect (apparently they can take up to a month !!!!!!!)

And the can't be arrssed and mind churning things over, I have been advised, are a side effect of the meds...

Sammy :grouphug: Sure another GP will be able to give you some advice - hope you're getting some time to chill out over Christmas. You and Bunny enjoy yourselves tonight :D

I would seriously see if you can see another Dr or at least talk to another Dr.

I am a constant worrier but at the moment I am thinking 98% of the day and its actually driving me insane I tell you...don't think I have ever felt quite like this tbh. Off to phone the Dr in a moment to try and get an appt. Its weird because I woke up this morning and thought Oh I don't feel too bad today, but I have no appetite (so unlike me) and just had lunch and now feel like a huge cloud has settled over me...so not normal

Wish I could just shake it off

thats kind of how I feel, like a black cloud is following me around and I have no appetitie (despite the fact I have just eaten pizza) and the constant thinking is driving me round the bend. I just can't seem to shut my brain off.

No I am carrying on taking the same dose as i am now....I have been on them for a month, and I did start to feel marginally better, but seem to have taken a step back.

I wouldn't stop taking them - funny enough i was thinking about you this morning, I did what you did and stopped taking mine on and off years ago when my little ones were little...in the end I had to accept I was on them, I reduced my dose gradually and eventually came off them. I haven't needed them for nearly fifteen years.
