I've added this to my shopping list alongside my biscotti ingredients to make up the coffee hamper

Cafetiere, flavoured coffee and biscotti and bag of ground coffee, 2 books and bookmark

Hiya, I got a cafetiere from poundland :) I was going to put that in my mums hamper, how do you make flavoured coffee?

    Thanks

We had a lovely time at the Market, it is over priced this year and some stuff was either TOO out there or fuddy duddy, was surprised not to see any of the doggie flannels, cupcake flannels, snoman soup! the only thing they had was reindeer food. I did get some gorgeous coloured glass stars for my christmas tree and the nice man gave me some nylon to hang them from my tree. I got 4 for 10.00 :) They were doing arbroath smokies, so mum got a couple for dad. We had a lovely lunch in a nice wee tea room and then came home, a nice day had by all :)

When Xmas shopping do any of you have like "lists" of where your going , what yours getting ect. Just wondered as my timing will be limited Xmas shopping and because I have the Isobel (my Goddaughter 7months) there be 2 or 3 stops for feeds/nappies and just a chance to get her out for a stretch and change of sceneory to the buggy even though she is used to shopping and long periods of times in buggies ect xx

junior - I live in a small market town but still need a list of which shops I';m going to and what I want when I get there..............if I don't I'll forget and come back with only half what I went out for.............lol

Our Christmas market has been stopped this year due to lack of volunteers which is a shame as its normally good. Instead it seems there might be a bit of a market on the square when they do the light switch on (Dec 3 or 4 I think) and one of the local pubs is having a small christmas market in their car park so hopefully it'll make the town feel a bit festive.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Yes, I always use lists otherwise I forget things. If I'm going to lots of shops I have the shop name and then a list of everything to buy, then the next shop name and so on. At the bottom I list things I want to look out for but don't know in which shop :) I find it really saves time and means I usually get everything I needed to.

I think you have to if your taking a wee one with you, they get bored and tetchy, my motto is get in get my shopping and get out. lol my dd will be 3 in January so she can get more bored than when she was not even a year old. Best to be just organised :)

I always list what I need to buy and the shops I think I will buy from otherwise I would wander around needlessly and not get what I set out for

    Hi esmer,

The flavoured coffee was the idea I saw on here which was from mum2one.

Its on here somewhere or on the HM edible items thread

Bag up instant coffee, whitener and cocoa mixtures to make
    Swiss, mocha and Viennese mixtures

I'm getting a couple of bags of ground coffee then also making a few bags of the instant mixes to go in there too

Have listed a 500g bag of coffee whitener on my list of things to get alongside a jar of coffee. Already have some cocoa

Actually just made me think if it needs to be water dissolvable drinking chocolate rather than milk dissolving hot chocolate?
