    Hi girls and man..

Still no shopping done but got everything sorted for the children in need day i am doing at nursery on Friday. Personalized cake toppers from Ebay and my friend is making the nursery a children in need cake.. and i brought a pudsey t shirt and funky pudsey head bands..

Saw my friend (86yr old Molly) twice today , once to teach her how to work a laptop.. and then i left my charger there so had to go back and fetch it and took my dog who she loves and ended up staying another hour.. we love a natter!

Money is running short so just a few little bits i am going to get in the next two weeks then with next pay day will buy more :) x

I'm being (almost) organised!!! I've listed one thing on ebay. Have loads to list, but can't find camera charger. I know this should be on the other thread but it's gone down the pan a bit of late. Anyway - the more money I make, the more pressies I can buy! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Susan - please say OH took a photo, I'd love to see. What did you make, how much did you sell them for and what were the best sellers? Sorry, really nosey! ;)

    Hi everyone

Welcome Charliesmum, hope you have good fun

    Brilliant news TQ :)

Susan -You've got a naughty OH :) Re your pint of socks not selling and the comments, have you considered adding a miniature bottle to it?

Esmer where I live there's always a massive Victorian street fair and funfair beginning December - always rains :( A medieval one sounds interesting.

I've been to a craft fair but didn't buy anything but books. I only saw a couple of items that immediately made me think of MSE, something made from flannels but I'd never seen before (forgotten already) and cleaning cloths dolls which were very good.

Mary, I was woken about 5 am with the doorbell ringing a couple of times, thought it was much later and the postman. I know I've asked before, what sounds do you hear?

I've got really fed up with all my procrastination over the year with all manner of chores and house repairs and finally got into action, because there's a lot of difficult family things going on and I couldn't bear December arriving and getting overwhelmed with it all.

I did 7 months of filing yesterday, and other such things. I have also been putting off getting my tv aeriel fixed, but having 2 days last week when I couldn't watch (whenever it's windy) made me worry about Christmas viewing so need to phone someone about it.

At the moment I'm going through my decorations and doing a dry run of a wall hung tree (as I don't want a big tree this year) and going to experiment where I could hang the lights.

JJ is your dad a musician as a full time job? It's really nice that you get on well with your friend, regardless of how old she is. When I was your age, I always got on with people no matter what age they were. Often it's much easier to be yourself as there isn't all the competition and dramas you get with peers.

    Have a good evening everyone.

Angela.............what I hear is nothing like the postman............lol
It's a sort of humming/pulsating noise, sort of throbbing. Seems people who've got this tend to hear different things and some folk get a lot of pain with it..........at least I don't get that. Just get a bit of a dizzy feeling..............certainly wouldn't have gone out on my own today.

I get it too Anglea - it depends most of the time. Sometimes it could be like bells ringing constantly and others it can be a high pitched squeal. I too get dizziness whenever it flares up. I've had it 10 years now, and sometimes it's worse than others. I always leave the TV on when it's quiet to block out the ringing, but night times sometimes it's unbearable. Mine started when I got an ear infection from swimming in the local pool, and it's never gone away.

Esmer - your fayre looks good. We have a german market here in Brum. Ours starts next week and lasts until Christmas Eve. It's our tradition to go at least once, although I have a terrible phobia of being in the City Centre close to Christmas.

Gosh i haven't posted on here in ages. Unfortunetly i've been mega busy at work etc.

All presents are now accounted for... just got to buy one of those mega big bars of cadbury's dairy milk. The 1kg one. Trying to hold off for a mega big discounted price as well :ll

Tomorrow will be spent sanding my mothers present of a rocking chair down and hopefully painting it white to make it shabby chicish..?
...and i've decided to do some pots of gold.. so i'll be getting my OH to spray paint some plant pots gold. We did one tonight and it turned out so well.

I've been listening to christmas music on youtube whilst drinking my 'christmas' coke ;) I'm feeling very christmassy(?) indeed!

mum2one - What you driving LOL!!! I thought my quotes were bad. I got insured last year for 227.00 and this year they are all near on 400.00 I thought with driving longer and no accidents or points it would get cheaper!!! guess not lol

Have a good Friday everyone. Im off out in this terrible weather! :(

I won't mind if I had a posh one, buts is a 1994 Escort Sapphire - apparently the Sapphire the posh bit....... I passed my test at 17..... no points, a few accidents (none fault), but hoping get the Arviva (£202), but as use to be with them not sure, but next £233. Loyalty just doesn't pay.
Def shop around, I did the main comparison sites, but found them misleading as they added in compulsary access, then when u added legal cover, protected no claims - just flew up. I just went through Quidco and individual insurers, but Direct Line and Co-op are quite good, thou sounds daft whats gd for one person sky high for another. x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
