Yay another birthday present has arrived today, a hoodie for my friends little girl. Got it from my catalogue using commission reduced from £17 to £4. Tried to get ds(3) and ds(unborn) some bits in the sale too but everything was out of stock:rolleyes:
Was in boots yesterday and was so tempeted to get a few more bits but i'm trying to hold out till they get reduced to 75% next week, plus i got some extra points vouchers to use too which will come in handy for more baby bits n bobs. Just realised i've only got 13wks left now Eeeekkkk!!
Been snowing on and off here all day. DS is driving me insane leaving the doors open, its like a blummin igloo but he doesnt feel the cold. Dreading my next gas bill:o

    Hello all :j
Been busy today..........decorations all down and put away -christmas cards cut up and salvaged for gift tags and cards, well what I could re-use of them and found an address book I had given me I'm going to cover and keep............don't like the pattern on it -for some reason we've two in the kitchen -why  one would do and this ones a lot bigger. Gives me something to do while the weathers so 'iffy'. We had another lot of snow last night............... This rate I really will become a hermit !

loopychris - I've got some other boxes I had some notelets in that I could cover and put the notelets I've made inside.................in fact, think I've got four of these boxes...................never like to throw a box away so if you need one let me know......................lol

mum2one -like the sealed pot challenge idea but can I do my own please ? :confused:OH does the lottery every week -£2 -hardly ever wins more than £5 so I've told him every week I'll put £2 in a jar and see which of us has the most at the end of the year.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Can I join in with the sealed pot challenge as well please. I always seem to have loads of change in my purse and I never use it! Wil put it all in a pot during the year and see how much I have at the end of the year. Normally I give it to DD1 and she puts it in her purse!
DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

Great find Wendy :T I can highly recommend these. I brought them (at full price) before Christmas for hampers and they are much nice then the Argos photo shows too.

Im afraid I cant take the praise for this one. Someone had posted about them on here and I had reserved one so I knew the link.

Can I join the challenge too Mum2one? DD usually had all my 1's 2's and 5's but as she now has pocket money (as of 1st Jan) I can keep it.
Snap. My 2 spent their monthly pocket money yesterday- on a club penguin each, which were a good buy cos in the sales and a puffle which wasn't cos it was fll price and used up the rest of their money, I tried my best to talk them out of it..but they insisted and they are having pocket money so they learn what to do themselves so I let them..and then DS saw a Dr Who comic he fancied later...and had to leave it ,so maybe he has learnt his first lesson.:D

I've been really really looking forward to today cos 1st day of kids back at school (yesterday was inset) and time at last for house to be back straight.

    and then......

Mr S set off to work in Midlands today we live in Yorkshire.
    It started snowing.
Neighbour rang to see if I could take her youngest to school cos older ones ill.
Friend called as she's started her walking regime and my house is on her walking plan, so left her putting on DD's coat whilst I got neighbour's child.
    Sett off for school.
Turned back having forgotten water bottle, left friend with both kids.
Picked up water bottle, caught up with friend and kids and found
    DD had been sick.
    Kicked fresh snow over vomit.
Sent friend back to mine with DD and took neighbour's child to school.
Phonje call from nan panicking that snow means she can't get my mum's card for birthday which is on...sunday!
Phone call from FIL panicking about whether hubby is working away..more panic when I confirm he is (hubby is 44!)

Infant school text saying school closing after dinner.
Wonder if neighbour has same text, she doesn't know I now also have an ill DD and am stuck
Can't find neighbours phone number and can't ring 1471 due to everyone else having rung.
Get DD to promise me she'll be ok, if I nip 6 doors down to neighbours house to tell her about school closing.
Neighbour hasn't had text but she arranges with someone else to pick up her dd.

Junior school text to say they will be closing usual time but closed tomorrow.
Son arrives home from school without his school bag, which has in it a cheque for his dinner money, his school planner, his swimming kit and a brand new pair of shoes I bought yesterday evening and son hasn't worn cos he went to school in wellies.
Son said he put bag in playground 1st thing and it vanished, caretaker went out to look and couldn't find.

Point out to son we need these shoes cos son has flat feet and we have an appt tomorrow for new insteps. Can't search tomorrow cos school is shut !

Can't decide whether to cry, or sell kids on ebay.
Ring Junior school and ask if anyone has handed bag in.
Secretary goes off in search and yes she's found it.
Send son back to school to collect.

Have argument with Mr S who wants to travel home tonight, despite the fact that there's bad weather conditions here and he took a change of clothes with him.
knock on door from mr S's friend who asks his wherabouts and says he's mad to attempt it home.
Ask friend to ring Mr S.
Mr S rings and says he's decided to stop o/n after all.

So as we stand I have 1 ill child, 1 off school tomorrow due to school closure and one husband away o/n and a xmas tree still up complete with decs.

Are you going to kick me off the thread for dis-organisation.:rotfl:
